Rex & Tanny are you freaking kidding me. What a waste of time. Hey Woody, sell the team to someone who cares.
I expect him to say I fucked up. Too many mistakes, too many penalties. I didn't do my fucking job as HC. He didn't know how many pass plays against the giants, he didn't know Homes was benched? He does know shit apparently.
Rex's last explanation RE Schotty just said a LOT. More or less a confession that they haven't fired him in order to help him get an HC job.
Rex: "For whatever reason people want to target him" (Schotty) Uh ... because he sucks as OC? He's been the OC for 6 years and what has he produced? C'mon Rex.
Ah, the AFCCG defense rears its ugly head once again. I'm beginning to think that for some of you, two AFCCG's are enough. They're gonna stay pat with the CS and the players that's in place going into 2012 and live off of those 2 AFCCG's as much as folks still live off the '69 SB win. This team is going downhill and they're saying they want to stay the course. They're overrating their talent again on the field as well as on the CS.
Shouldn't the Jets be worried more about what's best for the Jets and not for Shotty? They either really will have him back, or they are running the risk of missing other OC's while he tries to get a HC job. I don't get it.
mark is decalred the starter for next year - no surprises there "his body of work speaks for itself" -yes it does, but not in a good way
Exactly. If you're trying to sell your shitty car to someone you don't open with "Hey by the way the transmission's shot."
Obviously, you did not listen or listened with a preconceived idea of what you believed Rex would say. Rex did not dance around the question. He said I'm tougher on guys, individually, then you or anyone knows about. H said he does not get into the personal discussions he has with any players or coaches. Exactly what Parcells preached. You don't air your dirty laundry in public. Family matters stay behind close doors.
This is pathetic...makes you not even want to watch anymore...have to hope they are just lying through their teeth here.
Don't tell me what I'm happy with or what I'm not. All I'm saying is this year is unusual in the context of the Ryan-Tannenbaum partnership. That's a fact. You can't call missing the playoffs a trend or anything. If you want to weight this season higher in evaluating them, that's fine. I'm not happy with them, but I think they deserve to stay (not Schottenheimer though).
