Most QBs would struggle if you took the O-Line out.

They wouldn't. But there wouldn't be 8 in the box on most downs, either.

I may have given you too much credit. Football is a game that is subject to the domino effect. Surely you have learned that since your team signed Welker and Moss?

I agree that the supporting cast for Sanchez isn't ideal, but if you can't see that some of the problem lies with Sanchez himself then I don't know what to tell you.

Favre threw picks in GB, he threw picks here. Sanchez is what he is, I'm sorry.

With better coaching, he could cut down on the interceptions -- Harbaugh / Alex Smith -- but if you can't make cake without batter, you can't make a great QB out of a mediocre talent.

sounds exactly what Clemens went through and he got dissed by the same public running to Sanchez' defense.

im torn on sanchez. I don't think he's good enough, but at least he gives a shit. thats all us fans ask for. i mean, we obviously value winning, but don't make us feel like dumbasses buying tickets and supporting the team if you're not gonna fucking try. sickening. I appreciate sanchez for at least acting like he gives a fuck.... what an embarrassment of a "team".

First of all, where do you get that the Packers have a bad O line? You want to back that up with something like statistics? Second, the Pack's passing game is one of the best in the league and that's not all due to Rodgers. Third, the Lions?! Their D isn't exactly amazing.

Of course it does! SOME of the problem. Do you know how much? If you say you can I'm going to call you a liar. What I can say, with absolute certainty, is that people who watch the Jets have been displeased with Schottenheimer since well before Sanchez was here. He's been given far too many chances and has never produced a decent offense. Sure the Jets have had some success in the past when they ran the ball 70% of the time, but does that really take a lot of effort on the OC's part? No. It takes a good O-Line and RBs. Two things we don't have anymore.

People have to start realizing that offense is more than one guy. It's more than the QB. Sanchez made some bad decisions, but how often were they because he was clearly rushing? I'd say quite often. His line couldn't protect him, therefore he had to rush all his decisions. When you rush, bad things happen.

480 yards and 6 TDs are Madden numbers. I don't care if you do that against Appalachian State. That is impressive.

The Lions D has Suh, Avril, Van den Bosch, Delmas, and decent LBs. They have talent, and have apparently been good enough for them to make the playoffs.

Not that I agree with struck but the lions secondary is awful and the packers do have a loaded receiving core.

Detroit is ranked 23rd in total team defense. The Packers are the best team in the NFL. I bet you thought Leinart was going to be good too.

Im the on idea to bring in someone to compete with him with a new OC. Cutting him only hurts us capwise and leaves us with an even bigger unknown at QB. If Sanchez beats out whoever we bring in (Orton hopefully) good for him. I don't think a QB should be given up on completely. You can start planning for the option that he may not be the franchise qb, but you cannot just cut him and bring in a question mark at qb.

I was talking about the Jets OLine...we know they were bad this year, but I think even with a good OLine, Sanchez is an average QB. He has some issues.
