What are some positives taken away from this season?

    - Cromartie had a hell of a year. Outside of the first couple of games where he was called for a couple ticky tack penalties you didn't hear his name mentioned all year. He was pretty much shutdown and came away with 4 Int's.

    - Kerley wasn't that involved but showed a lot

    - Improvement of Keller

    - Harris playing up to his contract

    - Greene 1000 yard rusher

    Anything else?

    Keller played well.
    Cro picked up the slack.
    Kerley played great. 100% hustle
    Harris being a quiet beast.

    - Wilkerson has been more than serviceable, all that can be expected of a rookie.
    - Revis (as usual) save for the BUF game
    - Maybin was a useful freebie

Greene may have got a 1000 yarder but I wouldn't consider it a highlight. The fact that he's been our only running back has more to do with his statlines.

Slauson improved. He's still not a great player but he did take a step forward. No reason why he can't take another step forward.

Mo Wilkerson had a good rookie season. He had some bumps in the road but he could develop into a really good player.

Some improvement from the second year guys in Connor and McKnight. The same kind of holds true for Wilson but he had a rought end to the year.

Sione Pohua had a good season and but managed to avoid the pro bowl. This should make it easier to resign him.

An impressive bunch of street free agents on the team,Bellore,Josh Baker and Drew McIntyre.I could maybe see Bellore be the long term replacement for Bart Scott.

First I love how someone with Cynic as their name is doing positives.
Wilkerson looked like he can be good.
    Maybin was a good find.
McKnight showed potential as a mismatch and player on offense.
    Red Zone offense.
Revis as usual, Wilson, David Harris

Too soon for this kind of thread. Let them drown in criticism for a while.

Wayne Hunter played a great season and was a good replacement for Woody
Mulligan filled the void we needed as a great blocking TE
Eric Smith showed us his ability to be a starting safety
Sanchez improved his decision making skills and ability to read defensives and make necessary adjustments

If I don't focus on the positives, the rage will take over and I fear that may affect the health of household items in my immediate reach.

Really liked Kerley this year, especially today. Harris was pretty sick this year too, Revis was great, and Cro was pretty good except on returns. I like McKnight's potential as KR, his return TD was the only thing I like to admit happened at Baltimore.

And finally, maybe a reality check will be just what we needed to get our act together on offense next year.

There will be plenty of time for a thread like this next week.

Right now is the time for bitching, whining, and finger pointing.

Since the Titans won the Jets were essentially out since the Giants game.

Not to mention, most realists like myself realized that we were in extremely bad shape after the loss to Denver, while the sunshiners thought we would roll right through Philly, NY, and Miami .

Mark Sanchez was pretty good. 26 Touchdown passes. 4 more than Favre had his year as a Jet. And 18 interceptions, 4 less than Favre threw.

Cromartie had a heck of a year? Where was I for that?

Pluses were Kerley today, Turner might have a future. Maybin. Wilkerson, McKnight.

    Bout it.
