The AFC wasn't nearly as good then and he was carried to those title games.

    in Sanchez's 2 title runs:

    9 TDs, 3 INTs, 4 -2 record

    Stewart's 2 title game runs:

    2 TDs, 8 INTs, 2-2 record

not to mention Mark had to win 2 ROAD playoff games whoile Kordell needed one win at home.

    One of two:

1 - You did not watch any playoffs games in the last two years

    2 - you're dumb

You kidding me he had 34 less Pass attempts then Sanchez and almost the same yardage. So if he had 59 attempts he woulda had 500+ yards. Worse then Sanchez? No one can have been worse then Sanchez last week. People call themselves Jet fans but they make up the stupidest excuses to why Sanchez sucks and don't watch the games. Also Manning had to play against Cro and Revis, who did Sanchez have to throw against? A defense that the Cowboys and Eagles torched? How did our boy Sanchez do against New England who has the worst defense in the league? If your going to say the giants secondary is better then ours I will laugh in your face. Sanchez goes to bed every night wishing he was half as good as Eli Manning, at this point he is nothing but one of the worst Qb's in the league.

So that I am not disappointed by irrational expectations when will he turn the corner or "start to shoulder the load"? Will it be the 4th season? 5th?

Does he get a pass until there is a new OC? Should I base it on the Jets getting a Tiki like performer in the backfield?

    Please save me from myself.

No correction, to beat Peyton Manning and Tom Brady the defense has to play great. 196 186 180 and 100 passing yards in the 4 wins. Those are "elite Qb" numbers correct?

Theres a lot more to running an offense than total passing yards. Especially when he was a rookie and sophomore QB.

but feline manning didnt look like he was scared to death back there his entire third season.

you could equate him as much to david carr as you can to manning. time will tell.

cherry picking things that happened in other places to other people is no way to predict future success or failure.

i am not saying sanchez is elite or that he is the only reason why the jets have had playoff success. it is difficult to win on the road in the postseason as a young qb and it seems like this is not appreciated at all. look at flacco's numbers or any other young qb for that matter and tell me who has had more success in the postseason than sanchez

The only reason? Are you serious? Revis and Cro who shutdown Manning and Brady(2 of the best qb's in Nfl history) had nothing to do with it right? This is to funny. So where do you rank Trent Dilfer who as a wild card Qb won the superbowl?

Sanchez has the 6th highest QB rating in NFL post season history. He has many flaws, but let's not pretend like he hasn't been good in the playoffs.

of course the defense was a major part of the teams success. that is the only way you will win in the playoffs with a qb in his first or second yr. i agree with you on that. but to completely disregard how sanchez has played within those games is being too critical.

if the jets had a defense as talented as that ravens team then they would have won a sb already with sanchez. dilfer had also been in the nfl for 6 years. obviously dilfer wasn't a great qb but that doesn't take away from the success sanchez has had in his brief career.

The most touchdowns Brady has thrown for in the postseason were 6, and that was in 07 when he threw for 6 with one of the greatest offenses the nfl has seen, and he didn't win the super bowl. The next highest total is 5 and in his first super bowl run he threw 1 td. Sanchez threw for 4 and 5 the last two postseasons.

In 2010 sanchez had the 4th highest qb rating out of the 12 playoff qbs.
In 2009 sanchez had the 6th highest/lowest qb rating out of 12 playoff qbs.

So while Sanchez did not play "elite", he put us in position to win both championship games and the games before

    You are a major troll.

If The Giants defense had been allowing 90 yard catch and runs like the Jets did on the 99 yard TD Sanchez would have had 350 yards on the day.

If the Jets defense had been able to cover or tackle Manning would have had 128.

Hahahah thats like saying if Sanchez avged more then 4 yards per pass on 59 attempts he would have a 500 yard game. If this and if that and if what? Im a major troll exactly why? Because I state the facts?

You state half the facts in a stupid way. That is why you are a troll. Every here criticizes Sanchez but the one thing that has been undeniable is that he has raised his game in the playoffs. Somehow you argue against the obvious.

Also 4x59= 236. Half of the total number you said. That is also why you are retarded.

Of course the defense helped in the postseason since defense WINS Championships but do not act like Sanchez wasn't a HUGE part of our wins in the playoffs since hes been nothing short of clutch in the postseason. Talk all the shit you want about Sanchez but don't take away the fact that he IS clutch.

Yup not as retarded as the retards who keep saying he is going to be a top 5 qb next year and blaming everyone but him for sucking and labeling him a "franchise" qb everytime he is not a liability.
