Convenient how a Pats fan didn't include the 6 rushing TD's Mark has. So you're not a Jets fan...makes sense based on the retardation you've been spewing everywhere.
seriously TX, 2012 might just be the time for you to start preparing for the post Brady era of heterosexual Patriot quarterbacks
He's had the better year no question (although there is still 1 game left that can tilt the favor in Sanchez's direction with a good showing vs Miami and a poor showing vs Baltimore). I never argued any of that. His argument was that Dalton carries the Bengals in ways Sanchez never could, and I asked him to explain his argument, and of course he could not and resulted to ad hominem attacks. I also think a 1 year sample size is not good enough to accurately compare QBs, but again, I won't get into that argument. Do you think Dalton has carried the Bengals? He has the 24th ranked passing offense. He's a very good game manager right now with a good running game and VERY solid defense and special teams. This isn't a knock on Dalton at all. I'm just calling a spade a spade, but for some reason the above poster thinks Dalton carries his team. I fail to see how Dalton carries his team with an 82 QB rating, but Sanchez is pathetic/terrible game manager/awful QB with a 79 rating. Explain that logic to me. Newton on the other hand DOES carry his team. They have a bottom 5 defense, awful special teams unit, and he wins games or has kept them in most of his games.
i never said a word about green! i see you brought out only the stats you want people to see and not all of them. where are LT's stats. where is the credit to the defense and their stats, after all, they're the reason the jets won. you try to put up a couple stats and make like they say it all, lol. another guy looking to hang from sanchez ball sack. ooopppss, almost forgot, the grammar arguement. that wins it! LOL go watch some reruns of this years games. i'll help you out a little with a clue, fast forward thru three quarters then turn the game on genius.
rookie QB makes a 3rd yr vet look like garbage? They have SIMILAR stats. What are you looking at? Sanchez has 30 TD to 15 INT Dalton has 21 TD to 13 INT Taking into consideration for the amount of throws Sanchez has over Dalton they have nearly identical INT % (2.9 to 2.8) So I just don't understand how you can prove (again this isn't a debate of who's the better QB) that Dalton carries his team in ways Sanchez never could.
No, I do not think Dalton "carries" the Bengals offense, but he has had a very impressive rookie year. If it weren't for Newton, Dalton wins the Rookie of the Year award. My original point was after just 15 games, Dalton has slightly better stats than a verteran QB who has played in 54 NFL games.
I don't think it's Sanchez fault that he was thrown in the fire. He should have been benched for a few years in favor of a veteran.
now be fair and go back and look up sanchez first year stats. were they anywhere comparable to dalton being in his first year? end of story!
could sanchez ever of put up those stats his rookie year? be honest now, we're comparing a 3 year vet with a rookie and the rookie still beats out the vet. as a jets fan, thats embarrassing!
That doesn't prove anything. If Sanchez puts up similar stats this year as Dalton, how can you say Dalton carried his team but Sanchez didn't? You also never set the paramters of the argument. You didn't set it to only include the both QBs first seasons. Obv Dalton had a much better season than Sanchez in his rookie season, but again, how is this a sufficient qualifier to show Dalton carries his team?
says enough for me to know that if you step back and look at sanchez honestly with dalton and newton in their first seasons, the jets are coming up short in the qb department. surely you seem to be able to step back and look honestly somewhat. go all in and do it completely, then tell me sanchez isn't as promising as some fools on this board are making him to be. so far, looking over sanchez three seasons of work and lack of improvement this year, i've come to the sad conclusion sanchez future does not hold the promise jets fans had hoped!
Oh, so all the credit goes to the Defense and Running game, but Greene doesn't count. Gotcha. You sir are a fucking moron
Alright genius. Who do you want to replace Sanchez. Please share your infinite football wisdom with us. WHO IS THE ANSWER?
evidently the bantering going back and forth says as much so. go back to being clueless and rubbing that sanchez doll you have between your legs, maybe you'll get your wish.
I honestly think that Sanchez's biggest problem is his lack of preparation. I've read every article about him putting in his due diligence in the film room but it never translates on the field. The fact that he still relies on Mangold to help read defenses is alarming, and he still doesn't look comfortable. Regardless, like I've said the whole time, I don't think Schottenheimer plays to his strengths. Mark has a decent arm, he should call some more intermediate passes, he should also try to roll him out of the pocket more, let him call max protect when the D is sending blitzes. They need to take the training wheels off of this kid, them putting it on hurt him in the first place. The first 3 games of his rookie year the kid looked so special. He had some very good games, looked confident, was having fun out there and was playing with his natural ability. He had a few bad games and they made the kid into a scared little girl. It's going to be interesting to see if an OC can repair the damage that Schottenheimer, Rex, and Cavanaugh have done to the kid. Anyway it's not about becoming a pass first or pass heavy team, it's about having variety in the passing game and well, quite frankly we're very predictable. We're putting this guy into a failing situation with his flaws and telling him to claw out of the hole. It's never going to work this way. We're not championship material, let's be honest. Rex needs to nut up and fire Schottenheimer and look elsewhere. If we lose on Sunday and Schotty ends up staying next year then I think that reflects bad on Rex because if he would rather be loyal and stay mediocre than upgrade the offensive staff and become better, then his priorities are misplaced.
you answered your own question fool. never said greene didn't count, again you have a reading comprehension problem. i said run game, LT, greene and the oline, all while the true hero's (defense) never get their dues from clowns like you. it was all sanchez according to your stats. sanchez won the playoffs. the true troll loyaljetsfan, for being clueless.
Once again, your retardation comes through. Why don't you go look and see how many years Dalton started in college in comparison to Sanchez.
