I think the majority of people have forgotten this! He is 25 years old with one playing year in college, give him a break and a little support! Sanchez deserves a fair shot with a decent OC before he is run out of town.

We had smoke and mirrors on defense with no pass rush and aging role players on the D line. Rex is a great defensive mind, but he needs help, too.

No offense but this thread is insane. The Jets got to 2 AFC titles with defense a great running game and great special teams. We need to get a big time safety with range, we need to get ourselves a talented Left guard and Right tackle along with a running back who can put a punishing hit on a Line backer without being the guy who leaves the field. We also need an evaluation of Moore to see if another year away from hip surgery is going to get him back to form. He clearly was a shadow of himself this year.

The Jets had a great formula we simply have let the last few drafts get away from us and spent way to much money on a mediocre WR.

Enough is enough with this manning shit! What 3 major neck surgeries this year and some of you think he is the answer? He is one blind side hit away from never getting off a stretcher.

i feel like Sanchez is to distracted off the field for his own good,Thats all good and great for him that he's enjoying the perks of being the quaterback of a NY football team but i feel like its def distracting him from really focusing on winning and playing better.Instead of fucking two models during the week he should be watching tape and practicing save all that other stuff for the offseason when nothings going on.It would distract me in the back of my mind if we lost i would just think oh well who cares

I think Pouha is a FA this year. If so, do you bring him back?

Everyone else on line is pretty young

Elite QB's can do both models on Sunday morning have a drink and delivery a SB.

it's funny -- all of Sanchez' stats have improved this year compared to last year yet he has regressed -- Joe Flacco has gone from a 93 rating to a 73, complete 56% compared to 62% last year, 6 less TD, and 2 more INT. His regression is evident in stats, but because his running game and defense are playing to well people seem to overlook it. You would think a team with a #2 seed and is a legit SB contender would get more press about a QB holding them back...but it is Sanchez under the microscope everyday in NY.

it's funny -- what Sanchez has shown me is the potential to be a top tier QB in this league with the right offensive scheme to properly use weapons. Schotty is regressing more than anything if you ask me.

Remember, when everyone was on Josh Freeman's jock, how do y'all feel now. Our receivers SUCK MAJOR ASS, the OC is an ASSHOLE and we wonder why kid can't make plays.

    Is this post a joke?

If both the Pats and Jets win next week, the Pats win the division by 4 games, 5 if you want to include the tie-breaker for sweeping them twice this year.

Also, please explain if the Jets would have beat the Pats that they wouldn't have lost to the Broncos and the Pats would have mysteriously lost another game?

Pats had the AFCE wrapped up by Halloween.

he won't get what he thought he was worth when he left the jets for FA. the jets should have made an effort to get him back after a month went by and edwards price came down. the jets should have swooped in for that price, i believe was 3 million a year. that was a bargain, especially with the repore edwards and sanchez had established.

doubt he'll come back to the jets unless there's more than the 3 million he's under contract for with the niners. even though his year was bad with the niners, he had 2 decent years with sanchez and the jets. he has that to hang over them.

Joe Flacco is an overrated stiff. Mark sanchez is an up and coming star the kid has more tools than Flacco and doesn't have the great oline, rungame, and defense that flacco enjoys.

Sanchez is an "up and coming star" and Flacco is an over rated stiff?

If you asked 32 GM's who they would rather have as their QB all 32 take Flacco, including Tanny.

it's even funnier because you bring up in your previous post his stats being better every year, yet those same stats say he a bottom tier (bottom 1/3)
    level qb.

when you're rated that low, it's not hard to improve on those type stats. yet he's still bottom of the barrel as far as quality nfl qb's!

the tampa buc's talent level isn't anything close to the jets. freeman may have had a down year, but his offensive talent isn't what sanchez has to work with, and freeman's oline is even worse than the jets!

take away Flacco's oline, rungame and defense and all you have is a human tetherball pole.
