I have to ask, are you idiots who aren't bashing Sanchez watching the same Fkng game I am???

How often do you see a wide open Jets receiver and Sanchez throws into triple coverage, and Sanchez panicking like he only has a fraction of a second to throw a pass without 5 defenders draped all over him but really he just needs to step up in the pocket and make the throw or actually go through his progressions rather than lock in on one receiver???

You idiots won't be happy until you run everyone else out of town but him!

Great, then we can draft 52 other players by the time Sanchez is 45 years old, and as soon as he is not Joe Montana by year 23, we can still fall back on the fact that he's only 23 years into his career!

    So frustrating!

He is in year 3, year 3!!! And half of us already think he's playing like Joe Montana when the other half is rightfully thinking he's below average!

He has slow WR's who get zero separation yet Sanchez begged to have on his team, an poor excuse for a TE who Sanchez also loves, a HORRID right tackle only, an average at best running game (fair enough), and possibly the most QB UNFRIENDLY offense I have ever seen! That is right, QB UNFRIENDLY (fair enough)! The offense coordinator is completely clueless, completely! (Stop saying things I agree with here) 4 QB's and all have been shit under schithead, and it's all their fault right?? What a joke. How could anyone possibly not think that Chad Pennington, Kellen Clemens, a 90 year old Brett Favre, and Mark Sanchez aren't the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th comings of Christ??

And because he is not able to overcome this, we still give him the benefit of the doubt because it's only year 3 when most other top QBs don't even get that???? Are you FKNG kidding me?

Why is it that I see every GOOD QB in this league complete passes while Sanchez always looks completely lost??

It's amazing, an NFL QB expected to complete passes??? You guys are nuts!!!

    Amazing concept???

Brady has 2-3 no name guys on almost every play and makes them look like superstars.

When do you EVER see Sanchez make it look easy like that??

I am so sick of all the idiots who know nothing about football, and will scream about how awesome Sanchez is, as if he's completing passes or something like that!!

Does he make mistakes, FK yeah!! So does every other damn QB in the league! Get over it, he is not going to be perfect, and he's actually just not going to be good.

(Just thought I'd have a little fun on Christmas morning. Merry Christmas to all! And for the record, I don't think Sanchez is the real problem. The whole team sucks. But I also don't think he's the solution. If there were better options, I'd be all for replacing him. Can't get a superstar at every position, but I sure wish we could get one at that position because it's not going to be Sanchez.)

Sanchez has shown us his advantages which is passing on the run, play-action, and rushing the ball himself. We need to take advantage of all of this next season. Its amazing how Sanchez improved this season yet we still have a worse record. If we had this Sanchez last yr we would've been like 13-3 o_O

He flushes himself out of the pocket with no reason. I can't even stand watching him anymore. People don't even realize that both the last 2 seasons this team wasn't that good, they just magically made it to the playoffs and rode 2 games on adrenaline.

On more than one occasion Sanchez took it upon himself to throw into triple coverage. Ridiculous.

Sanchez has faults but I dont understand the posts
Are you saying that Sanchez has to go?

You know that's not going to happen

Are you implying that Schottenheimer should stay and we get a new QB?

In reality, QBs get better when Schottenheimer leaves
    (See Brees & Pennington '08)

Harping on Sanchez' current faults does nothing.

We need to figure out a way to fix them

    New OC is step one.

As hard as it is to fathom, both Schotty and Sanchez are the problem. Its just that Schotty MUST GO NOW. Sanchez can stay little longer while we continue to find his replacement. During this time he can perhaps prove us wrong.

This is what happens to a team that decides they need to develop a young offensive coordinator regardless of the costs.

Yes this is very true. Implied in what all the SCHOTTY MUST GO'ers (including me) are saying is that if Schotty goes, it's put up or shut up time for Sanchez

1st year with rex we did magically make it thanks to the cots sitting manning. last year we came back and barely beat some shit teams. fine, you want to not call last year lucky,i'll take that. but it was never a strong dominant team anywhere in the reg season.

In 2009 I remember saying after the Atlanta game that Sanchez has to go ; also thinking our playoff chances were gone. I remember thinking in 2010 after getting demolished by New England that we were in big trouble but then we stormed into the playoffs. In 2011 I like many have not been impressed in any win we have had this year, so This was an expected outcome to me.

Are we dumb Jet fans or just conditioned for the the worst possible out comes and not really impressed when we do succeed?

Usually the "dumb"jet fans are the ones that have been arouind for a while. We usually get called dumb etc by the ones who have hopped either the Parcells,Chad,or Rex bandwagons and think it has always been rosey around here.

because this is not a very good team. Outside of Revis we probably do not have another elite player on this team (except maybe Mangold though he has struggled at times this year as the whole O line has).

the last two seasons have given people unrealistic expectations about the jets.

unless you have an elite QB you need a fucking amazing team to make up for it and the jets do not have an elite QB and are not a great team.

sadly you cannot simply go out and get an elite QB you have to be lucky and we simply have not been lucky enough to date

Sorry, I actually wasn't really intending to call anyone idiots or anything. Just decided to copy the other OP's words and twist 'em to suit the opposite. Everyone's okay in my book! Except for Schottenheimer. And maybe Sanchez. And maybe 3/4 of the rest of the team.

Besides, it's Christmas, and I expect a late Christmas present and for this team to back into the playoffs for the 3rd straight season!

Yes, the Jets dominated the best team in the NFL last year on adrenaline. Apt. Apt analysis.

It was a joke. Take a look at the original thread that ripped all the Sanchez haters. I just copied the text and modified it as a joke to rip Sanchez defenders. You didn't see the end of my post? That's why this was "Part II".
