This: Either Oakland or Denver most likely will lose Bengals should lose to Ravens Titans will most likely beat Houston We have to beat Miami If you were going to put down a bet, you'd probably want about 16-1 odds that all of those things would happen.
Oak/Den - one will lose - division games where they can knock someone out of the playoffs -- that makes a season worth it for some and SD does not want to go out like bitches. Ravens will be fighting for #1 seed or at worst a bye so they go all out Texans need to get TJ Yates playing better ball. They won't have Johnson but they will open things up a bit in hopes of getting more points out of the offense. Toss up game but the Texans don't want to go into the playoffs on a 3 game losing streak. Jets beating Miami -- doubt it - might be a Reggie Bush show that gets Kim Kardashian wet
The Texans vs. Titans game is the big game. The Ravens will beat the Bengals and either the Raiders or Broncos will lose.
no, playoff football isn't different, but just taking your argument on its own merits, your comment is pure f'ing stupidity. there have been 45 Super Bowls, and 3 teams deviate from the norm and you somehow think that means playoff football is different than regular season football? you clearly don't know shit about statistical analysis or common sense. 3 occurrences out of 45 incidents is an exception not a rule. beyond that, in the past 30 Super Bowls, only 6 teams have won less than 12 games and won a Super Bowl, and of those 6, 4 of them were either repeat Super Bowl winners or would repeat within 2 seasons (The Patriots and Steelers). Every single one of them would prove to be capable of winning at least 12 games in a season and are thought of as great regular season teams. that means great regular season teams win Super Bowls. the other two teams are last years Packers and the Giants a few years ago. The Packers are going to win 14 games, so clearly they are a great regular season team as well, so that means your argument depends on one team in the last 30 years to claim that playoff football is different than regular season football. sorry, the history of football disputes that empirically. and on top of that, no 9 win team has ever won the Super Bowl. and in case you didn't notice, at best the Jets are only going to be a 9 win team. please explain how you came to the conclusion that playoff football is different than regular season football when the history of Super Bowl winners shows that only teams capable of elite regular season success win the Super Bowl.
If we make the playoff then we deserve it. Not our fault that the NFL lets 12 teams into the playoffs.
Jets +1 at Miami Baltimore -2 1/2 at Cincinnati Houston +1 vs. Tennessee -- Kansas City +3 1/2 at Denver Or San Diego +3 at Oakland If you think the Jets will make the playoffs, parlay all those bets (or ML) and you'll make some good money.
The're basically saying they believe the jets will win, Houston will win, and SD and Oakland are even. Denver gets the half point on KC.
With the way this team is playing and with Wayne Hunter the resident turnstile on the O-Line, you really think we can win in the playoffs? I don't give this team a chance to win in the first round. Seriously, this team is not made to run in the playoffs...especially after losses to Philly and the Giants.
