Washington played very well at guard for the canes. I've seen him ranked asthe second guard for 2013 behind Decastro, so its will be interesting to see waht type of grade many put on him for this year.

As for Vernon, not sure why hw would come out early. he played 5 games adn recorded 1.5 sackes so prorated over the year and its a down turn for him. He looks very much like a 43 end only and was not highly reguarded in the 2013 draft numbers. This screams of a rat jumping off a sinking ship to me.

I'm not sure it's necessary, if a player isn't on the list they decided to stay in school. We can discuss player that stayed in this thread too.

If you want to start a thread no problem.

While he's not my first option, how do you guys feelign about Nick Perry as a potential edge rusher for us. It seems the deram of Upsahw is way off the mark and same goes for Jenkins at this point.

I think Nick Perry would be an excellent full time 3-4 OLB for us.
At worst, he's in the bottom 2nd round. But could easily rise to the 20s of the first round. As of today, I have little doubt that Upshaw will be gone by 20.
Not really in love w/Jenkins -- IMO, he's had his hand in the dirt too often to be a full time OLB in the 3-4. I know Rex plays different fronts and will ask the 3-4 OLB to go into a stance like Pace, B. Thomas & even Maybin.
I just like Nick Perry & even Shea McClellin as better prospects for us to draft.
Both of those guys could even go ILB if the need arose.

they know the NCAA hammer is coming and that they're likely not going to a bowl game next year, either

That was my thinking as well, too bad the NCAA was much easier on Ohio St then they will be on Miami. Guess it pays to have Jim Delaney at your teat.

To be fair, the allegations against Miami are much more egregious. This is coming from a former Hurricanes season ticket holder.

Dontari Poe out of Memphis declared. Pretty big NT. I have seen him mocked to the Jets in a few places, but I like most of you just don't see it

Exactly why I don't understand it. Either people think he will be deported or are just incompetent.

Word is that Ronnie Hillman - RB from San Diego State has hired an agent. Probably a mid round pick maybe end of day 2.
