But if you had any clue about why they call what they call then you'd get it. But you don't. And umpires have the most impact on any sport, that's why they get the most shit. Every play has to have a call made. That is different from every other major sport. You don't know anything.
Now that's downright stupid. Refs have no effect on baseball? You obviously haven't seen the elastic strike zone that would shrink in some innings but then expand beyond the home plate the next. P.S. What is Nobel PIECE prize? Who awards a piece of a whole Nobel prize? Is it recognized?
I don't know how I missed this great post. The NFL's officiating used to seem noble to me. But now, it is VERY comparable to how the fake officials in the NBA call games. They control the flow of the game, shamelessly in many respects.
A qb is scrambling around like a running back..with the ability to pass. He gets stood up and releases the ball the way no normal qb would do. Then he ducks. Bottom line is Qb's that scramble like that..be it Tebow, Vick or anyone else that makes a living with their arms and their feet should be judged in a completely different way. If you want to run around like a chicken with your head cut off to make a play...you pay the price. The fine is absurd. Only regret is that he wasn't hit harder. If you want to make them stop running around and keep them in the pocket..make them pay. Its the only way to stop it.

I thought the penalty on Pace was lame. The fine is over the top ridiculous. And you know what? I really don't think it's because I am a Jet fan that I say that.
