This is perhaps the most fucking painful, pathetic loss of the year, what a bunch of fucking bush league amateurs. And Michael Vic is a fucking drama queen I hope he gets a hit the head and swallows his fucking teeth!! Sorry had to vent!
Ummm...the Eagles haven't been a superbowl contender for the better part of 4 weeks my man...and some would contend months. At worst, the Jets lose by a less than 6 points...but not this. This is a "raping" of epic proportions and I have lost ALL respect for them in one game. 3 games left in the season...win em' all and you are in. Heck...at least be competitive. Every single Jets player should hold their head in shame today. Looks like I have to get behind my wife's 49'ers this year...only post season football I'll be watching.
Saturday will be. What are the odds of it being against the Giants. The NFL is rigged for things to work out this way.
lol it is weird how the season always comes down to these marquee matchups I'm just saying the Eagles were a favorite in this game for a reason. they are very good offensive team but they didn't put it together this season cause of injuries and mistakes but this was a very dangerous game.
What is it with this team? This is the second time in two seasons when Leonhard goes out for the year and the Defense plays like shit and gives up forty plus. Fucking bums.
i was referring to many of the posts during the week where fans thought the jets would win this one in a run away. many talked a easy sure victory. that hasn't been the character of this team this year. it hasn't improved and played stronger as the season's gone along. sure we beat up on some chump teams, but when it comes to good teams, the jets are not one of them. we've seen all year this team is not as good as last years team!
Leonhard is the brains of that defensive backfield. We saw it last year, and its no different today. What, did you actually expect Poole to step up and know what he's doing? He's garbage, we got beat deep by tight ends all day.
Its not even about coming out flat. Its about every move they have made in the last 2 years being exposed. Its about having 3 years to get some pressure...ANY KIND OF PRESSURE...from a front line that is so damn embarrassing...I do not know where to start. About naming a piece of shit person a captain and allowing him everytime he gets first down not to give the ball to the ref..but to stand up and point first down and then drop the ball at the refs feet. WHEN YOU ALLOW THAT FOR OVER YEAR...THEN THE RECEIVER HAS THE BALLS TO SCORE A TOUCHDOWN WHILE STILL GETTING BLOWN OUT...AND GET A PERSONAL FOUL FOR TAUNTING. YOUR CAPTAIN. Its about a head coach that kisses his players ass even after horrible games. A head coach that sticks up for Eric Smith...Bart Scott...Cromartie....Sanchez...or SANCHIZE....HOLMES...the list goes on and on. About a team that goes into the season with a punter that couldnt win the punt part of a punt, pass and kick for 13 year olds. About a team that year in and year out gets cute about replacing a frontline offensive lineman and pays for it for 16 games. A front office that thinks they can build depth by trading draft picks every year...so that you have a Duccasse still on the roster...perhaps the worst offensive lineman in the history of the game. A front office that has no back up QB on the roster. A head coach that continues to have an OC calling plays designed for the finalists in a flag football tournament. For all of those people that defend Tanny...defend Rex..and defend Shcotty, there is one thing we can all agree on. THREE YEARS IN AND THIS TEAM IS NOT GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WHEN IT COMES TO THE ROSTER.
You won't get an argument out of me on this statement at all. You can thank Tanny for this too. Perhaps Rex had a hand in this as he tends to exaggerate the talent level of his players to the point of absurdity.
Sounds alot like the 21st century version of the SOJ's to me. Different cast of characters, same futility level.
As a SOJF I am loving this season. Its nice to be back with a meh 8-8 at best team, no stress and low expectations for the season after the bump in the road of the last two seasons. $50 of e-money says Rex goes into the post-game presser and says "take nothing away from them, they are a heck of a football team"
