Pretty epic stuff! They had special screenings of the prologue across America on Tuesday, but I didn't get a ticket. People keep saying there is a trailer with Sherlock Holmes, but I haven't heard that. I hope so.
I know where you got that, I just found it myself and popped in to see if it had been posted already. Jack, you have to stop reading that blog, I'll never have anything new to post
Heh. It's one of the few places where I can catch up in five minutes or less. In truth, I was really expecting one of these Batman queers to have it already posted up. To my surprise. . . .
I just saw the new trailer with Sherlock Holmes, and I gotta say, looks fantastic! Looks sad though too. This is going to be a very dark Gotham. The odds of the film being as good as The Dark Knight are almost a million to one. The odds of it being the most liked film of 2012: pretty good.
Bane will break Bruce Wayne's back...It has to happen...It is one of the most iconic images in Batman's lore
I can't see how there is enough time in a single film to tell that storyline though. That comes from the great KnightFall, KnightQuest, Knight's End comic series, which is one of my all time favorites. I always thought they should make a cartoon movie on it.
It was you. I thought that looked great. I was there when that was shot in Pittsburgh. Very cool shot of the field being destroyed.
That trailer got my so pumped I watched it countless times. My friend thinks its going to end with Bane breaking Batman's back as well and in the beginning of that trailer you can see someone walking trough Wayne Mansion with a cane. (Not a Caine)
Well, on some level it's unnatural, but still colorful and entertaining to watch. Like the way gay people have an unnatural affinity to Bette Midler, or why the French love Jerry Lewis, or Canadians love fatback, or why anyone at all likes Tyler Perry.
Nothing in the trailer overwhelm me. that being said, I am confident that this move will be great despite some trailer editor's inability to cut the movie up into 3 second shots to generate excitement.
