Manti Te'o turning down NFL

    Well thats one top pick off the 2012 board. A good LB prospect with all the tools who would most likely have gone in the first.

    With us looking to be 20 or later there is little chance that Burfict falls to us anyway, let alone with Te'o not an option now.

    He probably returned because he was afraid Burfict would be selected before him and have him fall lower. Whereas next year he'll be the unanimous selection probably in the top 10.

    Its possible that he's thinking that way. I think he still would have been a top 20 pick so going back simply for that reason is a bit of playing with fire. Injury or a down year could hurt him as much as Burfict, whos own problems may scrae some teams away, beiung in the draft.
