What happens if we go 11-5 with either Cincy or the Titans at 11-5 also? Do we have those tiebreakers?
Jets schedule is easy. With the exception of the Giants game, if they lose any games they don't deserve to make it.
We should have the tie breaker over the Bengals. But theirsno way the Bengals or titans win out. Wouldnt worry about it
The only team we need to worry about is the TItans, who play 3 dogshit teams. Denver and the Radiers will both be 7-7 in two weeks. Cincinnati will lose a tiebreaker to us at 10-6 If they get there, but I can easily see them at 9-7. It's doubtful we'll win out so we need to be 10-6 with 5 conference losses. that means the Titans need to lose to New Orleans next week, PLUS one loss against Indy, Jax or Houston. It's really that simple.
Thanks, I must have messed up while using the Yahoo playoff generator. We actually don't need much to break out way if we win out since compared to the other teams we have an easier schedule.
I misspoke, CIN would also have the common games tie breaker against us. TEN would win based on conference record.
Okay so if we win out we need them to both lose a game, but if we drop a game to the Eagles or Giants and they both lose an AFC game we get in at 10-6. Should be a fun month of football coming up!
You guys realize that Denver & Oak both hold tiebreakers against us so other than conference record, It really doesn't matter who wins their division....
And do you realize that if we tie with OAK+CIN, that head to head losses mean nothing? Considering that DEN has head to head against both CIN and NYJ, it behooves us to be competing against OAK+CIN for a wildcard spot.
