    bump

    JETFIGHTERS

    Jets have:

    Chiefs, a can win

Eagles, a most likely let down

    Giants, for sure a letdown

Washington, a can win but something about the skins have the Jets #

Buffallo, just right for the easy picking next week

Miami, damn they play the Jets hard, a tough tough battle, Jets can't make a mistake

The Bengals, Pittburg, Denver and Tennesse are in the wild card hunt. I see 2 of those teams making it for 2 slots.

    Pittsburg has the better chance.

    Denver is hot.

The only way the Jets make it is win out(I don't see it) and for all the teams above to lose 3 out of 6

The truth is I don't see Divine intervention happining for the Jets as much as I want it to happen.

That's fine let them win. I can see the Broncos winning the West, and the Raiders missing the playoffs.

We drop to ninth with the win, everybody has the tiebreaks over us.

Denver technically has the division lead right now, and Oakland has Green Bay next week. The key game next week is Cincy-Houston. If Green Bay beats Oakland and New Orleans beats Tennessee, that determines quite a bit.

We're going to have to win out. Titans, Bengals, Broncos all have 3 easy games and 1 tough game on the schedule, at least one will go 3-1 at worst.

well i cant believe denver won this one

I'm starting to consider the possibility to just root for denver to win the division, i mean, just look at raiders schedule:
    Packers, Lions, Chiefs and Chargers
Meanwhile denver only has one tough game, the pats

About cincy, we just need them to lose one more, its under control

Guys, Denver doesn't matter anymore. Unless Oakland passes them again, which would necessitate Denver losing at least once in the first place (and Oakland winning out...including Green Bay next week).

Jets are looking okay. They are tied with Bengals, Raiders (Denver holds tiebreaker for division), Titans. The Raiders play Green Bay next week and the Titans play the Saints. We have the Chiefs and the Bengals have the Texans. We should win, raiders should lose, titans should lose, and Bengals are a toss up. Again, things probably won't break this way but that is how it looks

Raiders loss could actually be a good thing.

    Oak's remaining schedule:
    @GB
    Det
    @KC
    SD

Frankly they are going to have at least 6 losses. I can't see them beating GB in GB. I wouldn't be shocked if Detroit wins in Oakland either...

So if somehow, someway the Broncos actually win the division, I can't see Oak winning enough games for the WC.

This only goes to make that final drive the broncos had against us even more annoying (if that is possible)

I pray some people are joking in their posts. If not the lack of basic math skills and or NFL playoff seeding rules by some posters is incredible. While the common games tie breaker is too complicated to figure out at this point the basic scenario is 10-6 has us make the playoffs.

We make the playoffs at 10-6 unless:

Our one loss is against either KC or MIA
CIN wins out, or their one loss is to a NFC team
    OAK wins out
    TEN wins out
OAK finishes 10-6 and CIN and TEN finish 9-7
OAK finishes 10-6, DEN finishes 10-6 and CIN and TEN finish 9-7

I don't get why people say with certainty things that are completely untrue.

We can go at 10-6. We can miss at 11-5. We really need the Bengals to lose to Houston next week. We don't want this to come down to needing a Bengal loss against Baltimore week 17.

We simply need to keep rolling, improve week to week, win and advance. the rest will take care of itself.
