I was referring to Johnson dropping an easy catch that would have gone for the go ahead TD for Buff with seconds left. Yes, the Bills lost the game.
Here is a little comprehension for ya. Johnson dropped the winning td that almost no one drops. Buffalo lost the game.
My point was that if not for 2 massive f ups by us and 1 by them, they still would have needed 4 more points even if he caught that. I know its absurd to think that way, but no more so than saying another team lost the game.
People are paying 100 times more for a seat now than they paid a couple years back. If they want to boo, let them boo, they certainly paid for the right.
Ummmm you left someone off that list... A REALLY big someone. Jim Lepnhard is every bit as bad as Erik Smith...possibly worse ( at least smith can hit someone). Jim Leonhard is the LAST mother fucker who shoyuld be telling fans to shut up. Jim Leonhard shouldnt even be in the NFL. Give me a fucking break. The single worst position on this team right now is the safety position. Its a crime that we have those clows playing....STARTING no less. If youre a safety on the Jets right now, you should wear a funny nose and glasses to the bank to cash your check. JIm fucking Leonhard???? Fuck his mother
Perhaps the boos were towards his Pick 6 in Denver. Still, blaming him for that loss can't be correct when the Jets had the lead 13-10 and pinned Tebow back to his own 5.
I love that his teammates are sticking up for him, this team is always at their best when they are united up against a wall. I HATE dope fans booing Sanchez but the result could be unifying for the team and that could be a very good thing.
I heard one idiot right before the start of the national anthem when everyone was quiet scream out "Sanchez sucks". It was in section 318. What a jackass.
Unfortunately we have a lot of nitwit fans, that is the culture around here. Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera have been booed in recent years too. Not that I am saying Sanchez is either of those 2, I'm just pointing out how dumb fans can be.
Other then that one guy I thought the overall fan base was pretty classy. One dude even brought me a beer lol. That was my first trip to the new stadium.
Every Stadium you go to it alway depends where you sit. There are great people and idiots in every Stadium.
“It’s ridiculous that the starting quarterback of your team that’s taken the team to the playoffs the last two years — in his first two years — and you’re going to boo him,’’ tight end Dustin Keller said. “You don’t know what’s going on here. You don’t know what’s going on in the locker room, in the film room. You don’t see all the time he puts in. “If all the guys on this team absolutely have his back, then why don’t you have his back? If we have trust in him you should trust the rest of us to know he’s doing his job.’’ Right tackle Wayne Hunter said Sunday “was the first time in my nine-year career that I’ve heard a home crowd boo their starting quarterback before the game started. “It doesn’t start the game off right for us as a team,’’ Hunter said. “A home game is supposed to be a home game. It’s a home field.’’ In Sunday’s 28-24 win over the Bills at that home field, where the Jets are 5-1 this season, Sanchez engineered his eighth fourth-quarter comeback victory in the last two years — most of any quarterback in the NFL. The likes of John Elway and Joe Montana used to be celebrated for their fourth-quarter comeback wins. While those guys were building their respective legends as clutch QBs, they weren’t ripped for having left their teams in the positions of having to come back. Why does that always seem to be the focus with Sanchez — all the things he did wrong before leading his team to the comeback victory? To his credit, restraint and maturity, Sanchez yesterday went anti-Brandon Jacobs when the booing of the home crowd was broached. “That is the market we’re in,’’ Sanchez said. “These fans expect a lot. They expect us to win. You can’t let stuff like that get to you. There’s nothing to do about [the boos] except to play better.’’ Read more: http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets...of_qb_is_iDUoq7i6nmo0eMCIZt4zcK#ixzz1fIqvTuoG
New York Media is ridiculous. Yes Mark hasn't been great, but the reason fans boo him is because every New York Sports writer and analyst rips Sanchez after every loss when there are clearly more problems than him. People read this bullshit and then believe that its all Sanchez.
And again, that's one of the main reasons why Sanchez supporters have always said that we rather have him than Freeman or Stafford or Ryan or Flacco... he's proved that he can play in this market; the rest, maybe, but who knows.
BOTTOM LINE-If you pay all this money for PSL's and tix and parking and shlep your ass to the stadium...why start it off on such a negative note? Don't get you guys who are miserable all the time.
First off, let me state again that he was not booed pregame. it was not audible AT ALL. unless fireman ed, who is right above the jets tunnel, was booing right in his ear, then its a bunch of BS. second, when you go 3 and out your first three series and then make that terrible decision that lead to a pick followed by a TD, guess what, YOU DESERVE TO BE BOOED!!! us fans pay good money to sit there and to watch and that shit is pathetic. and wayne hunter has some nerve to open his mouth. hes a major reason why we are having problems. he cant block worth a rats dick. third, all you fruitcups who are sitting here going "you should cheer them on when things get bad, derp derp. its not nice to boo" are most likely the same asshats who get things like dodgeball banned in gym class and want kids to get 6th place medals. its the real world, not the land of make believe. when shit gets bad people get pissed. when your team keeps talking like its the best team ever and hasnt won shit, then plays like that, then fans let them know how they feel.
Elway was booed in Denver his rookie year. If anything football is less important in NY than it is in almost every other city in the country. You suck in this league you get booed. You perform your an Icon in the city you perform.
NUMEROUS sources including players, fans and media have said he was booed in intros. Beningo and Roberts confirmed it in the original interview. Stop trying to defend your classless darksider brethren who feel the need to boo at the drop of a hat. So, cut the BS, stop denying what really happened. Did I ever say players should not be booed, ever? I meant, the second you walk into the stadium, your players are pumped, everyones pumped...and the 1st thing you can think of is to boo. WTF is that? Thats loser behavior no matter which way you cut it. And even a 3 and out on 1st series isn't enough for me to get that upset. Big deal, get em next series. Put your man pants on and stop crying like a bitches every time something doesn't go our way! Seems like you guys are the immature, impatient whiners here..not us.
I can understand booing him when he's having a bad game, but booing him before the game even starts is absurd. Everyone's so quick to blame Mark for all of our problems, but we know its a combination of several things, not just one player or coach. It seems Jets fans are so used to disappointment that they get angry when things don't go perfectly. Were fans booing after his 4th touchdown? I doubt it. Mark isn't a bad QB, he's just a newb learning a complex system. Fans do have every right to boo, but it makes them look childish.
