Sorry if this has been posted already, but does anyone have any idea who Sanchez was chirping at after he threw the game winning TD? Not only was he YELLING, he had a real serious pissed off look on his face over it. Michael Kay asked him about it and he replied " I really don't want to get into it, it's over now". Interesting.
My guess would be Rex Ryan, for giving our backup QB in Brunell first string reps leading up to the game.
Nah... Rex has defended Sanchez more than anyone. Including guys working in the Jets organization (Tanny, players etc).
True. I'm not sure who Sanchez was mad at, or upset with, maybe he was just really fired up after a game winning TD drive? Who knows.
Is that when he was talking to Cavanaugh on the bench? I imagined him bitching about Schotty's playcalling.
Maybe it was a yell at the world in general, given that when the cuffs are taken off late he usually comes through?
yes, and cavanaugh was smiling. I met cavanaugh in a bar last year in pittsburgh, along with his lovely wife. It was the night before the regular season victory there. From talking with both of them, it didn't seem like neither were big Schotty fans.
Yeah American pissed... I wonder if it was at Schotty that would be interesting, is the schism that bad?
For as bad as our offense played against the Broncos, there was no excuse for our defense allowing an awful Broncos offense to drive 80+ yards to win the game, despite the fact that our defense was pretty good for 50+ minutes leading up to Denver's final drive. The same thing happened during the regular season of 2009, our defense lost at least 3 games during our opponents final drive. After our defense blew it against the Broncos, along with the Bills almost coming through at the end (if not for a Stevie Johnson drop), I believe it's safe to say that our defense is still struggling in regards to closing out games. The Broncos loss still hurts.
He was standing right in front of Bart when he said it, and Bart didn't flinch... so I doubt he was yelling at anyone on the defense
