Neither QB can be judged until years down the road so i really think this is a thread that will have to be revisited round about the 2011 or so season.
Either way Sanchez is our guy so we better pray for better days to come.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Wouldn't make the trade but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Lions fans also feel that they don't want to make the trade.

Stafford has looked good when healthy but staying healthy has been his biggest problem.

Based on talent I would no doubt take Stafford. Too fragile though.. we went through that with Pennington.

I think it'd be interesting to see Stafford and Sanchez swap teams. I wonder how Mark would look with Calvin Johnson and company (and a different offensive scheme).

Until Stafford proves he can get through a 16 game season, and he can play in the big spot I still take Sanchez.

I've made the point before, out of the three QB's taken in that draft, Stafford has the best weapons.

Despite the fact that I tink Stafford has superior physical tools, I would not trade Mark for him. For one Stafford has the dark cloud of shoulder issues hanging over his. Added to that Mark, despite is current issues with accuracy and decsion making, has showing to be very good in big moments. Its that type of thing that you can't put a number on that endeared him to our staff to begin with and I want to see where he can take our franchise.

Sanchez would be putting the numbers Stafford has if he had Calvin Johnson as his man.

Maybe I made this thread a little premature. Haha. Neither had started a regular season game yet.
