Pouha was a monster today. O line gave Sanchez time and he made some poor throws. Clutch when it mattered. Defense closed it out. They never make it easy. and how can I forget maybin
I liked seeing the running game get going (that is, until Schithead abandoned it for no apparent reason).
Seeing the OL play well is key. I'd like to see more run plays called next week. If Greene can't take 20+, get McKnight involved... the run game and OL as a group played really well today.
we just need wins, no matter how we get them. The biggest positive was Sanchez playing so well in the 2nd half and appearing to get his confidence back.
the last couple weeks I have been so impressed with Mo-Wilk. He is going to become a monster along our DL for a very, very long time. When he and Ellis get on the field together next year full time its going to be fun to watch. Hell how are you running on this DL in goalline situations? Devito-Ellis-Pouha-Ropati-Wilk good luck
It seemed to me that Greene played hurt all game. He got up real slow after every tackle. On that double tackle where he got sandwiched early in the game I thought he was done. He was playing with injured ribs from the Bronco game. I give him a lot of credit.
Patrick Turner anyone? I know he didn't exactly set the world on fire but he made some big catches, was good in blocking and proved to be good depth at WR. Did a nice job commanding some coverage which opened up Keller and Plaxico.
I was concerned with the lack of defensive pressure on the bills last drive and the miscommunication in the secondary. I like Turner as well. Big body.
I must agree. Turner is starting to look with a good 4th WR option. When Kerley is back in the slot, 4 WR sets will be better. Turners hands are starting to help build confidence.
Kyle Wilson's pass defense was on the first drive was outstanding. Edit: Turner and Sanchez should have chemistry... Turner was his #1 college WR.
