Clearly you are used to calls not being given against your team for such minor things as a blatant PI that would result in a twenty yard penalty rather than an interception and twenty yard return, but by the standards of all other teams I can assure you that this is considered generous.

 

The only evidence that is available is a blown facemask call. Purely anecdotal and insufficient to establish a pattern.

 

That was not pass interference under the rules of the National Football League.

Another question - why is the Philly crowd so quiet that I can clearly hear Tom Brady calling his reads?

 

Deion Branch should give half his salary to Brady.

I draw your attention to this section of the NFL Rule Book:

Article 2 Prohibited Acts by both teams while the ball is in the air. Acts that are pass interference

(a) Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch.

Since Molden was clearly playing the ball, and actually caught it - no PI.

 

Shock and awe.

 

I am presuming that the New England version of the NFL rulebook, which as we all know is the version with precedence when considering whether to penalise the Patriots, excludes the next line which states:

(b) Playing through the back of a receiver in an attempt to make a play on the ball.

If you don't consider a push in the back to constitute playing through the back of the receiver, I don't know what to tell you. Any other team gets flagged for it.

 

Yet another team letting Denver stay in the game, setting up the awesome last-5-minutes Tebow drive.

 

not sure who the announcers are in this seattle/washington game but one of the dudes has been blasting a PI call for about 2 minutes straight, wonder how much longer he's going to have a job.
