We have to lead the league, right? McKnight had the yips, Cromartie being Cromartie...Usually it's a total stunner when your guy drops a kick, but I'm bracing for it every time now. Don't know if they keep team stats for that though.
yeah i agree. at this point, you have got to have reliable hands back there. at all times. esp knowing that turnovers have been a major factor in our losses in games that were tight until those turnovers,
The Jets surehands guys all left in the off-season except for Leonhard. Everybody they've put back there this year except for Leonhard has been a disaster in the making. In the case of Cromartie and McKnight they're spectacular disasters but disasters none the less.
I feel the same exact way as Penny. I knew Cromartie was going to do what he did. In fact when he muffed the kick I started laughing. The next playi started laughing again when brad smith tipped the ball to himself and walked into the end zone. Typical.
I don't understand why Cromartie was returning a punt. Were Kerley, Leonhard, McKnight, everyone else on the team injured? Cro is the last person I want returning.
At this point were probably better off not having anyone field the punts, let the other team down it wherever it lands
at this point have no 1 back there and let it roll! when I saw Cro, I was at the game everyone said here we go again..
We've got two home run hitters in Cro and McKnight who are prone to bone-headed plays; and a guy who'll fair-catch the ball efficiently in Jim Leonhard. Our coaching staff is aggressive.
special teams loses games a lot more often then it wins them. keep leonhard back there in three years ive yet to see him make a big mistake
Or a big play. Our special teams have won us a few games over the past two years, certainly more than they've lost.
