When a starter or starters are down, we're consistently victimized by it (see Mangold going down, Leonard going down last season, Dyson and Harris hurt the year prior). When othere teams have starters out, their replacements play fine against us (Bills center, Spiller, pats D-backs) Bills Center hasn't been taken advantage of once today.
Yep, Ryan is supposed to be this great defensive mind, this D is getting the ball marched down their throat.
Seriously was there any doubt in your mind he would hit that FG. Kickers do not miss against the Jets this season. I feel like we have given up so many 50+ fgs.
Most bundles of sticks do make threads when upset, and then get made fun of because their pussy banter means nothing and has no merit attached to it.
Yeah, other than the 100 examples of teams throughout the NFL being affected week-to-week by key players going down, this is totally true.
Who the hell is Dyson? And yes we do not have depth at every position but there are many teams who would love to have the depth that we have on the defensive line and at corner. Also our wide receiving unit is pretty deep to be able to replace Mason with Kerley and Kerley with Turner. You cannot have superstars at every position.
He's referring, I believe, to the team's vacuum cleaner. The mucky carpets in the stadium contributed significantly to the team's failure in the AFCCG against Indianapolis.
Eh disagree with your analysis, or at least the examples you used to support your conclusion. Spiller had a horrible game today (2.9 rushing average). Pats d-backs aren't great, but its a product of the system Belichick runs. The Bills center did play well though.
Only one I can think of is Andre Dyson a CB who we had from I think 06 to 08 but he's talking about a Dyson in 09 if he said the year prior to Leonards leg injury
True. And true. That's my point-it seems as if any starter going down results in a huge dropoff for the Jets-- and other teams get workmanlike performances out of cobbled hot garbage.
What game were you watching? The Jets gave up 86yds on 28 carries for an anemic 3.1 YPC. Spiller was stuffed most of the game and averaged 2.9 YPC. Some I'm completely confused. The Jets D did well.
