Seriously is this a real question. I would love another shot at the AFC championship game. You keep knocking on the door and one of these days you will break through. I definietly would like to see schotty go but I'm not trading AFc championship games away to get someone fired.
Question for all die hard Jets fans No one has gone through more suffering in football than Jets fans. I am not talking about having a team that never has a chance and suffering that way. I am talking about having a team come to the brink of the Super Bowl or of having a dominant team and then something happening to ruin it. Sometime luck is involved or crippling injuries and you cannot do anything about that. However, the Jets ownership and accountant who thinks he is a General Manager really showed all the die hard fans what they really think about them by quietly giving Shittenheimer a contract extension. There is no doubt that the Jets would have made the Super Bowl the last two years if they had an offensive coordinator who could make adjustments quickly and who would stick to what is working against teams instead on one that tries to make like he is so creative. Two years ago no one on the Colts could cover Braylon Edwards and after the big bomb for a touchdown we never threw long again. Last year we beat Pitts in the regular season by using the short slants and not being stubborn and forcing the run. Then in the regular season instead of seeing if they could stop that and adjusting, we never tried the plays that we successful. It is such a shame that this guy is allowed to hold this team back and ruin the progression of Sanchez. Sanchez should be molding into a Drew Brees type of QB who constantly rolls and finds the short slants. However the bigger shame is that Woody and the accountant let us know what they think about the fans and that is so sad. I have been a die hard Jets fan since 1965 and I never once thought about deserting them but now when you have ownership taking actions which clearly is not in the best interest of the team and the fact that they had to do it covertly tells you all you need to know. Yes Woody it is all about the money and thanks for letting us know.
Sorry, the question was "Do you feel disrespected by ownership where they constantly raise ticket prices but could care less about making the team the best it can be even when the fans can see the big issues."
Really cool story, bro. No question asked and we have at least 3 active threads devoted to Explaining just how much worse schotty is than Satan.
Would you rather? Would you rather have a terrible rest of the season on offense and fire schotty and maybe miss the playoffs or make the playoffs and have a few convincing offensive wins? I think schotty should go regardless, his ineptitude to call a play past the sticks on 3rd down is horrifying. He has become incredibly predictable, consider in denver when the 3rd and 4th quarter his pattern seemed to be pass on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd. :bills_suck:
would I rather lose and be embarrassing or win playoff games? hmmm...let me think about it for a little longer and I'll get back to you.
