U know if at the end of this SB if Belly is lifting the VLT I wonder how silly RR will feel since he will then be 0-3 in getting us the VLT as well as having to give his congrats to Belly & the Pats. To me that will be like kissing BB SB rings which RR said he will never do
There looks to be only 1 true OT on the 2012 UFA list that will most certainly not re-sign w/his current team. Levi Brown 6-6 324. He'll be 28 in March, 2012. He was actually selected as a Pro Bowl alternate after the 2009 season. He started his first 43 of 45 games at Right Tackle --- from the 2007 rookie season to 2009. Switched to Left Tackle in 2010. I know its a big gamble --- if he was that good, Arizona wouldnt let him get away. But currently the Cardinals organization is in such disarray you can't dismiss Brown right off the bat. Looking at the examples of Gurode & McKinnie in Baltimore (and I'm not saying that they are playing at Pro Bowl level) leads me to think of the possibilities of giving Brown a fresh start.
I regret to say you are 100% right. Mike Francesa (and believe me, I do not like the man b/c he is not in our Jets corner), said it best, however: Rex Ryan has not seen the "other side" of the NY market. "And believe me," he said, "Ryan is not going to like the other side. It's pretty ugly." He went on to say that RR's proclaims have put him in a position where NY fans "expect" the SB and if and when he fails to produce, NY will turn on him like there is no tomorrow. It's not a very nice scenario and believe me, I can picture it.
He's doing pretty well so far, I hate to say. So how do you like your cardbard boxes? With mustard, mayo or catsup?
Get ready to play overseas? RichCimini Rich Cimini Roger Goodell tells Jets' official web site that Jets have expressed interest in playing overseas. #Jets tinyurl.com/6tbnfvd
Florio would probably turn that post into an article if he saw it. They can take a preseason game, that would be great.
as mush as I like L.T, I'd like to go in a different direction, and bring in someone like hillis, or forte, and make greene the backup again. the rest I agree with.
Erm uhm yeah good luck with that happening. Forte not a prayer in the world, Hillis while still incredibly doubtful is the kind of move that could end up biting ya in the butt since this guys surely gonna want big $$$
They played with 1 possible playoff-bound team (I think Giants will implode at the end of the season, so they don't count) and they convincingly lost. Against scrubs (Jets included) they are 7-2. I don't know how they are doing well. If they have to play Pittsburgh again during the playoffs, you can practically count them off.
Sanchez and a 3rd would probably get it done, but you might have to give them Mulligan too. Dallas Clark is getting old.
hillis being hurt all year has brought his price tag down. if he's not a rex type of player, then I don't know what is.
