Lets get back on track this week vs. Buffalo.

The Bills are going to be without starting CB Terrence McGee and WR Donald Jones.

RB Fred Jackson and WR Stevie Johnson are both injured. Jackson may miss significant amount of practice this week with a calf injury and Johnson has a nagging shoulder injury.

The Bills offense has been shut down over the last few weeks. Scoring 11 against the Jets, 7 against the Cowboys and 8 against the Dolphins. In those three games Fitzpatrick has thrown 2 TDs and 7 INTs.

The Bills defense is also going thru a meltdown. In the last 3 games they have allowed an average of 341 yards per game while the Bills have given up an average of 35.3 PPG. The offense hasn't helped them turning the ball over 9 times and did not convert one 3rd down against the Dolphins.

This is the game, IMO, that will let us know if the Jets are serious or not about making the Playoffs. I want to see an offense, that moves down the field and scores TD dammit!

this game should be won easy w/ all the injuries bills have, but we were suppose to demolish the broncos...i am hopeful though since the bills have been crapped on the last 3 weeks which was started by us

    Isn't there already a topic?

But yeah the Bills are certainly struggling. This game could be just what we need to regain some confidence and hopefully some momentum.

Needless to say a loss in this game would (barring a miracle) end our playoff hopes. But I don't see us losing this one.

There were a lot of avoidable mistakes in our 2 game week, the upside is that mistakes like those (with the exception of maybe INTs) may likely be fixable in the short term. For instance, I don't expect to see screw-ups from special teams, because it's been established that previous errors were not just flukes but something that needs to be seriously addressed.

This will be an important game, not in that it will be a tough win, but that we have to get away from those mistakes and set the tone for the next 5.

For all intents and purposes, the playoffs start right now. The Jets can not lose to an AFC team (Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins) down the stretch.

Yay its Jets week. You guys should definitely roll over us considering our only two good offensive players are injured but you were supposed to roll over Denver so you never know.

Their offense seems to be regressing, especially Fitzpatrick. Jackson is the only one we need to worry about right now, he's too dangerous coming out of the backfield to be forgotten. So long as the defense plays the same way it did in the first meeting - or against Denver save that final drive for that matter - they'll be fine.

I'm expecting a lot of screens from the Bills as well a few QB runs from Fitzpatrick.

Hopefully Maybin can get a sack on his former team on Sunday. That should do wonders for him.

In a way, I'd like to either see something to be able to hang their hats on or to just be put out of my misery.

We need to completely stomp these guys to a pulp. Offense needs to come out big and finish drives (i.e. folk cant miss a 24 yrd field goal) and defense has to play until the clock hits 60. Do the Jets have the moxie to win? I still believe.

    Jets 27
    Bills 14
(^ This is what im predicting)

I just want to see the offense commit to the running game. We had 27 runs last night between Powell, McKnight and Conner, but it was mostly a load of shit. None of our HBs are dive HBs yet we keep calling that fucking play over and over with the most gain being what, four yards?

We're excelling off-tackle and Greene always had his best games running the trap. Slauson can pull well enough.

Lastly, enough with the fucking two TE set. Mulligan is an awful blocker and I don't think I need to mention Keller's deficiencies. The passing game isn't good enough for that to be our base defense and if we're going to continue to pile up inopportune 3 and outs then might as well take some time off of the clock and run the ball more instead of watching WRs struggle to get open, Sanchez missing reads and the OLine letting him out to dry.

This is what I would expect. Didn't Fitz run for over 70 yards on us last year?

    From a neutral observer...

The Jets always play their best football when they have their backs up against the wall. The Bills have lost whatever mojo they had going early on this year. Pretty simple call, but I think this one is lower scoring. Something like...

    Jets 23
    Bills 13

Every time the Jets play the Bills, we pound them with the run. "Only" 126 yards on the ground this week, and we still average 248.4 Rush ypg against the Bills. If Greene plays, I expect to try and revert back to a ground-and-pound attack, where we run the ball a lot.

The Bills pass rush is also underwhelming. I'd like to balance out the runs with a couple shots downfield here and there.
