And Royal Tee appears to be doing a rather camp Nazi salute.

That's the "Mayo" fan (Hobbes savior) trying to get a 'Pats" jersey into the center of our photo. So I took him out.

Next year I'm going to have a tip jar by the grill when I'm cooking.

    good idea.

I didn't mind grilling the bratwursts. At least i had a birds eye view from the grill, of Hobbes falling into the guard rail...you can't put a price on memories like that.

If that's how were gonna do things, I'm bartending next year. (I'll let JE come behind the bar for a few to make his maple shots)

the dude that was directing traffic saw it happen too, right in front of him....he was dumbfounded.

Looks as though, due to a miscommunication, I will not be attending this game. Sucks...I was looking forward to the parking lot again.
I will definitely be at the Chiefs game in a couple of weeks, though.

It must suck having to sit through a "regular" tailgate, what with visions of grandeur only a few weeks old still stuck in your heads.

hahaha true. I picture 17a squatting behind his car with one frozen burger cooking slowly on a round, charcoal grill barely staying lit in the wind

Haha, sounds like how I do it.

Proud to say I was back on the horse yesterday, met some friends at my usual spot. And being the superstitious guy that I am, changed up to the 1996 Keyshawn jersey for good luck and it worked. How does a jersey from a disgruntled rookie on a 1-15 team bring good luck? Because these are the Jets and nothing makes sense, ever.

PS--You can see my round charcoal grill barely behind us, we had two grills and a lot of food. And of course green label JD.

I'll never forget the Denver game from a few years ago, where the rain was coming from every direction.

A couple of clowns from the board ended up tailgating near us. No tent, or shelter of any kind for the matter, attempting to "cook" burgers on a charcoal grill as they turned the food using a plastic fork. And the other thing- the grill didn't even have legs, so they squatted like Vietnamese street people, hoping to cook their food.
