Tell me 1 starting quarterback in the league who couldn't be 10 games above .500 with this offensive line, defense, best cornerback in Nfl history, good special teams, etc. A Cfl player can do good with this team behind him.
How can anyone defend Sanchez when he just choked 2 games in a row and you can't use any word but "mediocre" as his performance. This is truly mind boggling. He plays scared, no confidence, calls stupid boneheaded timeouts, no clock management, no football iq, Tebow in his 1st game was managing it better then Sanchez in year 3. How can anyone defend this retard who we used a 5th pick on? Talent is only 30% of what it takes the other 70% he has shown no signs off.
At this time I hate the entire team both on the field and the sidelines aside from Revis, Mangold and Harris. McKnight can stay as well at a push.
First off, if YOU'RE going to argue please spell YOUR words right. Next, it's different analyzing Ghoston and Sanchez. Gholston sucked. He didn't even have a time where he was ok, he was a flat out bust. With Mark, it's a different position. He isn't going to be superman. You can't expect him to look good or make good decisions when almost every throwing play is a screen or a little dinky pass out to a running back with stone hands. Schotty had to go after 09, if you ask me. Iff we bring in another OC or it turns out to be Calahan or even Moore, and Sanchez regresses more, then it would be fine to seriously evaluate him and do what needs to be done.
yup im only attacking the "cancer" of our team while defending the players who play their heart and souls for this team.
I don't give Revis a pass from last night. He didn't have much to do, but Tebow shook the shit out of him, on what was a pussy ass tackle. Other than that, he's still my hero.
Ok tell me this wise one? Did Shotty force Sanchez to throw that game changing pick 6 last game? Does Shotty force Sanchez to miss 10 throws in a row at time? Did Shotty make Sanchez call that stupid ass timeout vs the pats? Did Shotty force Sanchez to throw that stupid 5 yard pass yesterday at the end of the game with no time outs left? Does Shotty make Sanchez constitenly overthrow players all game? Im not denying Sanchez has talent but he is a idiot and he looks scared at times. You will never win in this league playing scared and having no confidence. Never!!! in game 41 he is thus far a bust how can anyone not freakin agree. Cutler looks calm and on point after he was just sacked 10 times in a row by the Lions. Sanchez plays scared after he got hit once.
This is a team game last I checked. Sanchez isn't the one blocking on pass plays! He isn't the one who can't block for the running game. He isn't the one covering the TE's that keep burning the defense. he's not the one with blown assignments on defense that allowed Tebow to run in the game winning TD. I'm not saying that he isn't playing bad..... They are all playing lousy....Offense, Defense and special teams. You seem to be picking only on Sanchez. I'm just curious to see what he would do without Schotty as OC.
It's clear that you only see what you want to see. Trying to reason with you would be like talking to a brick wall.
Me to so why aren't fans getting more on Tanny for this? We should all bring signs to the game and scream for Shottys head. But a smart Nfl qb can play good with or without a good Oc. If Sanchez can't suceed under a bad oc he is in trouble. A good Oc can't build Sanchez confidence up or make him play smart. Only Sanchez can do that.
I can't fault Revis for not successfully tackling Tim Tebow. You can't think of him as a QB in that situation. It's more like trying to tackle Peyton Hillis. At least Revis TRIED, unlike Cromartie who was ballroom dancing with his WR in the end zone rather than trying to make a game-saving tackle.
Guess how many people in the front office give a fuck about your opinion of Sanchez? Zero. He'll be given at least two more years, and the whining means shit. He sucks this season; not as much statistically as people insist, but in a very visible empirical way. That doesn't mean he's going to get cut, so you might as well pray for improvement like the rest of us while you rightfully criticize him.
Yes, the issue is that he isn't improving quickly enough, compared to his past 2 regular seasons. People say he's regressing...Compared to last season's playoffs, yes, compared to past regular seasons, NO. He deserves more time. Shit, Alex Smith is still in SF, and now they're one of the best teams in the NFC. And Sanchez showed more in 4 playoff games than Smith had in his whole career up to this point. Am I convinced Sanchez is the QB of the future? No. But you can't cut bait yet. Young QBs take time to develop, and he has shown some flashes. Year 1 and year 2 he had great situations with talent around him and a running game that was one of the best in the NFL. This year, everything around him is collapsing, and Sanchez isn't good enough yet to rise above it. He might never get to that level. But 41 games isn't enough time. It's not like he's never shown ANYTHING.
