Okay so I've finally converted fully to the "Fire Schotty" train. Week after week of nothing for the first quarter was acceptable when we were winning. It was acceptable in '09 because Nacho was a rookie and we were treated to a Jets renaissance season and went further than we should have. It was acceptable in '10 because we we managed to get our shit together at the last minute just enough to beat some bad teams and go on a sick (defensive lead) playoff run. We pushed and we pushed, hoping the defense could make one more stop than they had in them because we're only up by 4. Last night it cracked. We all know where the problem is. This offense is pathetic. So let's do what we can to fix it. There's a ton of Jets fans on this board, and a ton of season ticket holders. Rex is going to defend him for too long, but maybe if the fans really make this an issue he'll listen. Every coach in the league says they don't read the press - after a win or a loss. Rex doesn't. Rex reads this shit. Probably more than we think he does. So if he hears it from FANS it might start to make a difference. We're past the point of bitching about it. This.. Rex's loyalty to "his guys" just might be his undoing. There are several of his guys that really need to be upgraded. Jim Leonard leads that list. Bart Scott should be next. Time to find their heirs apparent. What his loyalty is to Schotty I'll never know. Maybe Rex just doesn't want to admit that some of his "guys" need to be replaced on both the Roster and the CS. The real danger is him being too stubborn to accept this and act on it before it drags the entire franchise down.
The bigger problem is Tennebaum: -nickled and dimed the best Jets player ever and forced him to miss training camp thus having hamstring problems 1st half of the year. Yet he has no problem keeping sanchsucko on this team wasting all our cap space. -He should have fired Shotty 3 years ago. -Drafted 2 of the biggest busts in Nfl history back to back years. Tell me the last gm to do that? -Let Kerry Rhodes go who is miles better then Eric Smith -Let Thomas Jones go cause of a few mil who is miles better then Greene -traded away John Abraham who would be our best pass rusher right now and who we desperatly need. Why is Tanny getting a pass?

What has he done to justify the #5 pick and his 60 million dollar contract please tell me? Which qb drafter #5 or lower has played worst since Sanchez since 2009 oh wise one? How is he not a bust please tell me? Why did it take Tanny 3 years to realize Gholston sucks? Why hasn't Tanny still realized Shotty and Sanchez suck? Would Abraham be our best pass rusher right now?
huge schotty hater here, and nothing has changed... i've lost a ton of confidence in sanchez now... but heres what has to happen. let schotty walk and give sanchez one more shot with another coordinator. i know going into this season we were in WIN NOW mode, but lets face it... there have been great qbs that have taken more than 3 years to develop... im not saying thats the case with sanchez but you have to give him one more shot in a diffferent system... picture how we would feel if we got rid of sanchez and he became a great QB somewhere else... Donttasemebro said it perfect... QBs have had major success after they leave schottys system... theres no denying that fact
