Moving forward how do you fix this pathetic offense?

Mulligan and Hunter should never play another snap in the NFL.

Dustin Keller is invisible most the time. Greene has proven he is NOT a quality starting running back.

Our best receiver is freaking Plaxico, doubt he'll even be on the team next season. Holmes is a moron, show boats after his 8 yard catches that end up getting over turned.

Sanchez is at best a very average QB, and that's being generous. The guy is so fragile. Maybe bringing in a new OC next season can help him.

This team misses Braylon and Brad Smith badly.

If Chicago doesn't want to pay Matt Forte, we should.

Sign Woody back and kick Hunter in his ass.

Even an out of shape D-Wood would be 5x the O-Linemen that Hunter is, Fucking blows.

Dustin Keller is invisible because opposing defenses know he is Sanchez's security blanket and aim to take him out of the game. Hunter and Mulligan should never see the field under ideal circumstances. We need a young #1 caliber receiver who can act as a deep threat to complement holmes, keller, and kerley in the slot. Plaxico has played well for us, because he is not a deep threat that can burn defenses deep, and he likely won't be on the team next season. But honestly Mark, is the main problem. Good QBs perform well in spite of the play calling, Mark doesn't seem to ever have a mastery of the game, there is never a point where it looks like he has a defense figured out and is on the attack, he always plays scared and confused.

How does Dustin rarely get the ball in the red zone.

If teams are doubling Plaxico and putting there best corner on Holmes, I just don't understand how he isn't making plays.

But it goes deeper, outside of Mangold and Moore the whole offense sucks.

It starts with Hunter & Mulligan. We need a do all TE. We need Braylon back. We need Tom Moore or a Mike Martz type offensive system.

I cant STAND the fucking pre-snap bullshit that goes on in Schotty's system. Just take the shit out please.

Bill Parcells would cut Hunter tomorrow and blame himself for putting that much pressure on his QB. He'd spend the next week trying to get his guy (Damien Woody in this case although he's not one of Parcell's guys) to come in and bail him out and because his guys love Parcells whoever he was asking would actually show up for him.

He'd have fired Schotty a month ago and be calling offensive plays himself (just like he did with Charlie Weis twice although he didn't fire him, Weis actually being a good offensive game planner and schemer.)

He'd be glaring at Sanchez every time he came back to the sidelines (just like Coughlin did with Eli Manning) after a bad throw and telling him in loud and profane terms to get his damn tail out from between his legs and go get ready for the next series.

This team has a triple problem right now in the leadership department:

    1. Young QB who can't get his feet fully on the ground.

    2. Crappy offensive coordinator who for some reason feels entitled to keep playing his bullshit fantasy system even though nobody can make it work.

    3. Inexperienced head coach who is acting like a cheerleader and defensive coordinator instead of doing the hard job of actually coaching the damn team.

Inside of that they've got personnel problems all over the place that are being masked by a few excellent players and are killing the Jets in a few other spots.

teams are being physical with Dustin and he's been too much of a pussy to be physical back. It's really annoying and if you watch it, he's been getting the shit knocked out of him at the line of scrimmage. Teams know this and that's why he's been nowhere as big a factor as he has been before. In the past, teams tried to stop him by blanketing coverage now they don't even need to do that because they know he doesn't like when people get in his face.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but Santonio is just not getting separation. Is it because he got his first big contract and he's not giving it 100%? is it because of the attention he's getting now that there's no deep threat because of Braylon?

I don't like his or plax's body language during the game and it seems like they're not always running the sharpest routes and giving it 100% everytime. Seems like they give up on their routes or when the ball is not 100% catchable. Plax is especially guilty of this, and that pick 6 was a perfect example. maybe it's because they know their line sucks ass or schotty's play calling is retarded. i don't know, but this isn't the offense by any stretch of the imagination

The pre snap is brutal, hard to watch.

Sanchez is freaking clueless and confidence less out there.

He's been in the same system for 3 years now. Is that a reflection of how awful the system is or how bad he is? Probably both

A dozen things to fix ... but speaking of Herm and Mangini, I need to get THIS off my chest ...

This is what you get when you kick FG's from the 3 yard line, and the 34 yard line!! WTF happened to your balls Rex??? and take balls out of it and just use your brain.

Why kick from the fucking Three? your playing against an offense led by a guy who can't throw the football. Even if they stop you, are you really worried about him driving 97 yards on you? if you get stopped and make them punt from the end zone, you're back in FG range anyway!! This shit has been driving me crazy ever since I started watching football.

And the other FG was equally ridiculous. your probably not making the goddamn 52 yard attempt anyway, so why not try to pick up the three yards??

not only can't we put the ball in the end zone, but we don't even fucking try. if there's anywhere on the field you go for 4th and short it's inside the 5 and between the 33-35. We should have had this game put away long before the final drive.

Learn not to take offense from watching this horrible group of people Jets call offense. That's a start.

If you can trust your offense will get it the next time, WOULDN'T YOU GO FOR THE BROKE? I have no confidence whatsoever in this pathetic group of jokes Jets call offense - rather, I take offense from that. I don't blame Rex if he feels the same about this million-dollar payroll chokers.

    couldn't disagree more ... it risk-reward.
extremely low risk to go for it with a high reward. if you don't trust the offense, then how many times do you expect us to get inside the 5?? you better find a way to get into the end zone.

and the long FG is just the reverse ... high risk and low reward. Neither one made any sense.

for the record ... just from observing football for 30 years I bet that teams who attemp FGs from inside the 5 probably lose 65% of the time whether they make them or not. just from watching I know it's a recipe for losing. points are way too valuable and most games are pretty close. I wish I had access to the data to prove it.

we need an offensive coordinator that can implement schemes and play to the strengths of his players.

a motherfucker who throws balls into the dirt in practice, single handedly beat out team!! If McCoy was an offensive genius like Schotty we would have won because that last drive would have consist of three hand offs resulting in getting stuffed or Tebow playing a pocket QB.
