the Sanchez calling the timeout I still dont see as a big deal because its up to the defense to stop Brady and they didnt. 40secs, 10secs, doesnt matter. Stop Brady = Pats not scoring.

You do realize why Holmes fell down? As usual Sanchez couldn't hit him in stride so his momentum caused him to fall. I know you were there so it may have been tough to see. If that ball was thrown in a position where Holmes catches it in stride he walks into the endzone.

I agree with your 2nd point but I have a problem with the entire sequence of events, the TO, then kicking it out of the EZ instead of pinning them inside the 10. You give them the ball back with under a minute and inside the 10 they may have been content with running the clock out because when they were backed up inside the 10 their offense looked terrible. Because of those fuck ups we allowed them the time and the field position to go down the field. Throw in Smith who always seems to be committing the same stupid penalties over and over handing them 15 yards when theymay have only come away with a FG didn't help anything.

ST shit the bed tonight, the inexcusable miss by Folk, Conley had a few decent punts but I don't understand why every team we play seems to have a guy who can boom it 55 yards in the air and we get guys who punt it 35-41 yards every year. The kick out of the EZ when your kicking from the 50 and of course the McKnight fumble which Strickland deserves as much blame as McKnight for us losing the ball there.

The D ran out of gas excuse is BS. The time of possession in this game was virtually even. If you want to say , our slow as shit defense couldn't handle the hurry up and Rex/Pettine had no clue how to stop it - they I might agree.

And answer this question truthfully. 1:20 or 1:05 left on the clock did you really think Brady & the Pats would run out of time. The issue wasn't the time left on the clock , the issue was the Jets D being incapable of stopping Brady.

Are you retarded there was OVER 30 SECONDS LEFT ON THE PLAY CLOCK AND 1:24 LEFT ON THE CLOCK WHEN HE CALLED TIME OUT. milk those 30 seconds and we're at 50 seconds, we run the ball or throw a short pass IN BOUNDS and force the patriots to use a timeout and that's it. We go into the half 9-6 or 6-5. Instead patriots go down with 2 time outs in a gift.
