Ok...first of all, abe will be traded.. personally id like a 1st round pick...but who knows. Chad will probably renegotiate, and half of our old decrepid line is going to leave...this is like the fall of the roman empire...but wait... what have we conquered?

I'm glad you started a new thread for this, I would have hated to miss this gem within the other 5 threads....

We weren't going to be able to pay him anyway, so we might as well get as much as we can to accelerate the rebuilding process, and give B. Thomas his chance to prove his worth on this team

Good ridence to Abe. He might be able to rush the passer, but he's useless otherwise and is not a team guy. Hopefully we get something substantial for him.

    BAAHAHAHAHA!!!!:rofl2:

Couldn't agree more, except that Romulus Augustus was running that friggin' franchise into the ground. He had no personnel skills. The Romans were WAY over the salary cap. And, to top it all off they had no business losing to any Hun in a week division like Western Europe.

I suppose. At the very least we can break even Southern Europe and throughout the Mediterranean until the next Great Schism.

RichMiano caught scribbling on the wall:

Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house?
RichMiano: It says, "Romans go home."
Centurion: No, it doesn't! What's the latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on !
    RichMiano: Er, "Romanus"!
    Centurion: Goes like?
    RichMiano: Annus.
Centurion: Vocative plural of "Annus" is?
RichMiano: Er, er, annus, anni, anno, annum, anno, anni... "Romani"!
