That guy is a piece of shit defense attorney, originally I felt Paterno did what he should have done but as more and more facts about this case come out it's quite disgusting. Let's think about this for a minute... Sandusky was the heir to Paterno yet he resigned in 1999, the people around the school had to know why. He wasn't sick and the school including Paterno know why he was forced out.
That was in the initial report I read and the kid came home with wet hair and his mother was suspicious. He told her what happened and apparently even with another witness the police did not find enough information to prosecute.
Fucking thoroughly disturbing. I couldn't even get through that Grand Jury report. This guy is beyond a deviant, I hope he lives to be 127 years old and something horribly bad happens to him every hour on the hour. I'm honestly embarrassed to be a fan of this team right now. I don't even know what else to say.
Heart goes out to those kids. Still think the verdict's out on JoePa, there are some instances where he's defensible and others where it's tough to justify. I'll let the mob rule prevail here.
Joe Pa and everyone who allowed those kids to be abused like that without taking the right steps to stop it should be prosecuted. It is crazy that shit like this happens in our society today. what's next? The saddest part is the students giving Joe support. I mean WTF!!!!
I am still flabbergasted this narcissistic piece of shit had the audacity to name his biography "Touched-the Jerry Sandusky story" when he knew what HE was doing. It's almost as if he were thumbing his nose at his victims on top of the heinous things he'd already done.
The other thing I can't get out of my head is McQueary not stopping Sandusky when he saw what was happening. He's a pretty big dude, c'mon man! A fucking 10 year old and you run out of the locker room?? Do whatever you can to help this poor kid, he should have been able to take Sandusky out no problem. I mean, shit, even Bruce Willis went back to help Ving Rhames, and Rhames was trying to KILL him. I know it was a movie, but c'mon Mike McQueary, you needed to stop that shit, that SECOND!
I'm sure McQueary was just thinking about his job and his future but you have to put that aside in a situation like that. He needed to do something and I'm sure it will haunt him for the rest of his life.
I have no doubt about that, and I hate to get angry at the guy, I guess he could have said nothing and maybe this sicko is still abusing his powers to meet more boys, but McQueary was 28 and a big guy, Sandusky was already a pretty old man, and this poor fucking kid....jeez. Scarred for life either way, but it could have been stopped, and you're right, it probably bothers MCQueary everyday.
