Compared to Winnipeg, Bayside is glamorous.

It's still a possibility. We just need to be able to eat near the hotel. I get in at 4, he gets in at 5. Both Type 1 diabetics. Even if we were staying in Elmhurst, we'd probably want to eat near the hotel.

MB your staying not far from my old neighborhood.

Anchor Inn is a block or so away from the 111 Precinct, so don't stagger drunk on the sidewalk.

Bayside LIRR is a few blocks away. You can also take the Q12 Bus to Flushing (Korean Town) and take the #7 Roosevelt Ave(first stop is Citifield) line into the City and the last stop is not too far from the Port Authority....to take a Bus to NJ.

Hope you have a great time, my job prevents me from coming this time of year.

Donovans is a great choice, ate there many times. Burgers, Ribeye Steak Sandwich, Crab Cakes all excellent.

I use to go to the Gable Inn, great bar and small family restaurant, all the time, at Francis Lewis and Northern Blvd...I believe they're closed.

There are a few good Diners in the area on Northern Blvd for Breakfast...great Pancakes.

I just stayed at the Anchor Inn last week since I was without power. That hotel was there since Im a kid and I never styed there. Since I grew up 5 minutes away. It was not bad at all. And a great chicken joint right across the street...called Chicken lovers something

I remember the Anchor Inn from way back.

I use to go to the Sizzler down the street, when I was poor going to College, and would eat a bunch of crap on the Buffet, think it's gone.

My family was from Flushing, I was born in Flushing Hospital. Flushing was nice before it became the "Ho Chi Minh Trail".

We're in 331 Row 9. Try to coordinate with ItalianSeafood, but we're all right in front of those seats in rows 8 and 9.
