This, metlife is going to be electric

    prime time

    Pats

    1st place on the line

I expect it to be louder than the game in 2009 against the pats

I really hope so. That game back in 2009 was insanely loud. I hope this upcoming weekend is even louder.

That was the only jets game I've ever been to and probably the best one I will ever go to.

This is our chance to metaphorically put our foot on the collective neck of the Patriots. If we win this game, theres no reason we can't be 10-3 going into the last three weeks of the season (don't think we'll lose to Denver, Kansas City, or Washington, leaving the Bills, who we clearly match up well with, as the most challenging game). I have a great feeling about this weekends game just like I did this past game. JetLife should be rocking. The Pats D is suspect at best. I fully expect Rex to pull out all stops this week and come with the most complex gameplan we've seen thus far. To quote a man who needs no mentions, "CAN'T WAIT".

Johnny English says :Because those fuckers from Toronto have taken up quite enough of our time and energy now, time to deal with a proper rival.

What away to start a topic. Says it all in a nutshell.

This game VS the Pats is huge. I really like the way the NYJs are playing and have yet to reach their full potential.

I am very confident about this game.

Ground and pound and great DEFENSE!

The NYJs are getting better each and every game.

    It's our time now.

I don't think the Patriots are going to roll over but they have been playing incredibly sloppy the last few games... Particularly the offense.

Considering the Jets are finally playing like many expected and the Patriots aren't I don't expect a Patriots win next week. It could even get ugly.

That said, the schedule after week gets much, much easier and they could easily rebound. The nfl season is still only at the half-season mark.

You have a very easy final five-game stretch.

Get to Brady a few times and he becomes rattled. the offense needs to control time of possession and make little to no turnovers.

I think the jets will win the game

This becomes just the latest most important game of the year. Win and we have a real shot at the division, lose and we have a hard time making the playoffs with the AFC north being as strong as it is.

take a look at patsfags.com and enjoy reading the meltdowns of a whole bunch of "longtime diehard pats fans (since January 2002)

hilarious reading those arrogant frontrunners jumping off the bandwagon and suddenly making the miraculous discovery that belichick's drafts since 2006 have SUCKED

Well, I tip my hat to your defense once again. I do not see my PATS beating you in your house on Sunday.

They will be hungry for a win but that will not solve their problems...pressure Brady and win.

As much as I would LOVE to blame our defense, they actually played great yesterday. With the exception of the last drive of the game, our D held up well against Eli and Co.

This one was all on the offense. No-Show-Stinko is about as fail as can be, we have zero deep threat(Price - out with a hamstring injury).

The Pats just need to execute better and after looking at the Jets defensive masterpiece this weekend, I do not see anything great happening from our Offense this week.

However, I would like to point out that I do nto think anything is over for New England. Even playing inconsistently these last couple weeks, I think we make the playoffs, but I do not want to see a one and done from NE again.

I would much rather see a missed playoff opportunity and a Jets first round bye than to get our butts handed to us in the first round again. I am also quite sure that the Jets know damn well that there is now a 3 way tie for first place, and this is a MUST WIN for both the Jets and NE. Whoever wins this game, wins the division. PERIOD!

Good luck all. This should be an interesting week.

The Pats defense gave up two late TD drives in the final minutes to the Giants which is definitely not the sign of a good D but they playing "decently" way above their last in the league reputation.

The Pats offense is suddenly playing very sloppy from Brady on down. Yeah the Giant's applied pressure but not overbearing pressure.

Maybe the Jets will think they can swagger in and win this one on their reputation.

Granted, they played great defense for 3 quarters, but in the last 5 1/2 minutes, they gave up 2 major drives(80 and 85 yards, resulting in two TDs). That is the secondary that we have known about all season.

Teams that apply pressure to Brady are seeing success now, he has no deep threat, and is using Gronk and Welker so often its predictable now. I do not think its so much that our Offense is in a slump, I think other teams have learned how to shut us down. The Jets pretty much drew everybody a map in last years playoff loss.

Defense wasn't great for the Pats yesterday, the Giants didn't have their top RB or WR
