Yeah when Chrebet did it he fumbled and it cost us the game and seemingly our season. However, as we know we won our last two and got help that year to win the division anyway.
if Keller's leaqp today was the dumbest play youve ever see, then I can only summize that today was your first day waching football. There have been approx. 23,454,676,854,654 dumber plays.
High Risk, low reward. Chrebets was in a BIGGER game, later into it as well, if i 'member correctly cant argue against "fighting for yardage" MOST o the time. See Byars in Denver too.
When I'm on my death bed, I'll be cursing Rex and Tannenbaum for releasing Danny Woodhead and trading Leon Washington.
Matthew Mulligan still holds the dumbest player on the team award with his silly mental mistakes time and time again. Pretty scary play Keller did that would have gave him maybe an extra yard(If he didn't step out of bounds)
Reminded me of the aforementioned Chrebet play against the Bears in 02 (that play was much worse because he fumbled the game away on a potential game tying drive)
DeSean Jackson dropping the ball before running into the end zone? Leon Lett? Gus Frerotte's headbutt? Come on now.
Bill Grammatica tearing his MCL and ACL celebrating a 30 yard field goal has to be up there, too. And TakeMeHomeEdGein....FTR, that play did not end Chrebet's career. Not by a damn shot. Are you kidding me?
I appreciate the guy going for every yard that he can get (especially given I have him starting on my fantasy team ), but still he's got to be a little smarter than that. He's no Billy Sims already.
