Jets need to utilize the run game, keep Brady off the field and set up play-action. The Jets offense can put up points if the run game keeps the D honest.

 

If we can stop the run like we did today then we have a good shot. It was so painful to watch Green-Ellis run on us all day last game.

Besides 2007, we've split with the Pats every year since 2006.

 

Last game he rushed 140 yards on us, so yea, we might want to do that.

 

After today's performance, if we have a healthy DL we should be OK against the run next week.

 

The Patriots stopped "owning" the Jets the day Duh Herm was sent packing. That guy had nothing for Belicheat every time.

and our run-D was atrocious the first half of hte season. very un-jet like defense (allowing 100 yard rushers every damn week). so yeah i don't see the pats running game as a threat.

They said the same thing about the Jets' locker room. Not sure why people think pro athletes will give up because of some adversity, they didn't get to the NFL by giving up.

This game is going to have such a different feel. I already seeing the analysts giving up on the Patriots on ESPN right now. The tides have turned, and the Jets should be the favorites going into this game. The Patriots are playing really bad football, while the Jets are playing very good football.

I think this is the most confident ive felt going into a Patriots game under Rex Ryan. The crowds going to be wild, I wish I could go this game.

 

You cant compare the two at all.

The Pats are actually a threat to throw it in the air, the Bills had no options in the air vs us whatsoever.

So when playing the Pats we actually have to respect the pass, where as vs the bills we could just go all in on the rush.

Not saying we wont stop the rush, but cant really use today as an example
