Because those fuckers from Toronto have taken up quite enough of our time and energy now, time to deal with a proper rival. Need to get DL fit this week, the Patriots are absolutely beatable right now but it needs a big defensive performance. Get Brady off the field, and if Sanchez and Schottenheimer perform like they did today (bar Sanchez's rush of blood to the head in the first quarter) then we can absolutely take this game.
Big BIG game, but I think if we can play like we did today, aside from the Jets playing like a bunch of idiots the first, we can get a much needed win. This is a big week so lets get healthy again
I'm never confident going into a game with the Patriots, but I know that if the Jets bring their A game then we can absolutely put them away.
we're gonna come to play, crowd will also be a factor. the pats offense doesn't look as dominant as it did last year. brady's been throwing a lot of picks lately (including 1 so far today)
Pats offense is becoming overrated. It's terrific as we all know, but it's no longer uncontainable. brady is making some mistakes. they don't have a deep threat.
The jets will probably split with the patriots. It seems that happens since rex ryan and mark sanchez came into the picture. It's probably going to be a tough game though,
Pats are showing themselves to be a mentally weak team, as soon as they face adversity they fold. It's easy to look tough when you breeze through the schedule like last year, they actually have to grind out wins this year.
I'm only half watching it, but the Giants aren't struggling too much on either side of the ball so far. We will be back to the seemingly endless problem of matching up on tight ends though.
they're not moving the ball offensively that well. keep stalling on 3rd down. but when you're missing your starting center, RB and #1 WR that's to be expected. all 3 are pro bowl caliber type players
Same, and that confidence will grow if NE loses today. Hopefully DeVito is back, he only improves the line. Also, the offense needs to play all four quarters.
Right, I didn't express my point very well there - the Giants' offensive failures so far are down to their own failure in execution rather than the Patriots bringing any particularly clever defence. Defensively they're causing Brady problems.
