Man, I derped there. You're right, except I think it was Bryan Thomas who got the safety.

I'm pretty sure this offense will get shut down again this week, scoring 0 points.

    Man, I'm sick of Schottenheimer.

    /sarcasm

Sorry, I had no power for 4 days.

He still sucks, but has LOOKED like he's shaking it off.

    2 weeks will tell.

Check the link I posted in response to the idiot we drummed off of the board. The play goes like this:

    1. HE-RAPE-ME fumbles the snap
    2. HE-RAPE-ME dives on the loose ball in the endzone.
    3. Mike Devito touches him down to end the play
    4. A bunch of shit happens in the pile-on
    5. Bryan Thomas dives in from behind and grabs Roethlisberger's legs well after the play is over.

I can agree with this sentiment.

Fwiw Kris Jenkins was on boomer and carton just now and he said The Jets don't treat Mark Sanchez like a man, and that schotty is holding him back

Jenkins has said a ton of asinine things trying to be outrageous and make a splash in his new career.

I happen to agree with that.

Cato, I think it was Mewelde Moore who Taylor tackled in the end zone. I'm not 100 percent on that, but it definitely wasn't Mendenhall.

Schotty is a joke and we win despite him and his playcalling.

Knowing the the New England D is in worse shape now than the first time we faced them, it will be interesting to see what kind of game he calls in 2 weeks. I haven't been in this thread for a while, as I feel that he's improved his playcalling, but let's see how things pan out this week into next.

Jason La confora reported that he has heard that Schotty Jr is ready to be a head coach and will be open to interviewing this off season.

Of course he's going to be interviewing, he's out of a job after the season is over

Nobody is going to be looking to interview Brian Schottenheimer unless the Jets offense takes off the second half of the season. He'll wind up coaching in the college ranks somewhere at a small program looking for his second wind.

If the Jets offense takes off he'll get some looks and might wind up with a job out of that.

Either way he better not be here for a 7th year.

The odds on him being here next year are low unless Rex Ryan goes on a drunken foot-fondling rampage the night after the Jets get eliminated from the playoffs and is pulled over by a state trooper with like seventy pairs of stolen shoes ripped off the feet of startled women during the rampage.

In that case the ghost of Leon Hess will fire Ryan and promote Schotty to head coach and we'll be doomed to repeat the 80's again.

It appears, Brainless Schottenheimer, has turned the corner. Until He regresses, I'm off his ass.
