And Posluzny, whilst not perhaps quite the "best linebacker in the AFC" as the Jags fans were trying to claim prior to us stuffing them, is no mug. Barnett's playing well, but it's a toss up which one I'd rather have.

Are you that stupid? Kyle Williams is your best defensive player. He was an All-Pro selection last year.

It's clear to me that the OP knows absolutely nothing about football (least of all his own team).

How you determined that 13 of your 22 starters have been upgraded since week 4 of last year is laughable.

So Donald Jones is an upgrade over Lee Evans? For a while Evans was your only legitimate player on offense.

Same goes for Paul Posluszny. Wasn't he a defensive captain for you guys before he decided he couldn't take it in Buffalo any longer?

We were running a new system on defense in 2009 and had a 3-1 record in September. That's not an excuse.

The week before we destroyed you to the tune of 38-14 in your own stadium, you lost to the Patriots by 8 points, in Foxborough. That's not an excuse either.

Dareus is not a NT. His primary position is at 5-technique. The only reason he's playing NT for you right now is because Kyle Williams is out.

The hilarious thing about this thread is that most of the players you listed as being upgrades over the players you had at those spots last season wouldn't even be starting for most teams.

I say your pathetic franchise is going to get wasted by the "Jests" this Sunday. Get ready for the show, Jills fan.

This is what I dont understand............your previous 6 games you guys were [insert any bad stat] and after beating an inconsistent Chargers team that had you guys down 21-10 then all of a sudden its "what you saw against the Chargers is the real Jets" , but you guys discredit our win against the Redskins and say we are the same inconsistent defense. I swear Jets fans are the biggest homers. You guys beat a 4-3 Chargers team who's QB is clearly struggling, defense that's inconsistent, came all the way across country(forgot that only works for you guys when you travel to Oakland), plus you guys needed a ton of penalties? I def wasn't impressed by the Jets or Chargers two weeks ago.

    That's cool.

You will be impressed in a few days.

Or you will be here telling us the bills beat themselves.

    Either way works for me.

You know what i don't understand.....The Bills haven't done anything worth talking about since the early 90's. Yet here you are, with something to say.

Your reality check is coming on Sunday.

enjoy your little winning streak now bills fans because this is as good as it gets for you. you sadly don't have any future. why?? because players don't want to play in buffalo. good luck putting a enough talent around 2nd tier fitzy and keeping them. your almost like a farm team for us big boys.

I still can't get over the fact that the bills went to four straight super bowls and lost them all. I don't know how you guys didn't kill yourselves.

This Darius guy is to bills fans what denarius Moore was to raiders fans. A good game and suddenly he is a match for an all pro.

Barnett is a far superior linebacker to Poz. He is one of the best cover linebackers in the league. Poz was a huge liability in coverage even on a slow TE. Barnett is an impact player in run support. Sure Poz got a lot of tackles, unfortunately they were always 5+ yards down field.

Barnett before injury was one of the top ILB's in the league. BTW, he looks like the top candidate for comeback player of the year.

Dareus played NT and DE in Sabans 3-4. He's a better fit at NT then at the "3". Kyle Williams is a very good player, but unfortunately he's out of place playing in a 3-4........he's a penetrating DT not a hold the block run stuffer.
Gailey had already stated in his latest presser that Dareus will stay at the nose and Kyle will be moved to DE.

Gailey has been a little stubborn with defensive personel. If it wasn't for injuries Moats and Williams would still be playing inside at ILB and NT because they are an inch or two short of prototypical height.

    Where do I begin......

#1 - For what Gailey wants out of his WRs D. Jones is a better fit then Evans. Evans is a deep threat period and pretty much cant or wont run the routes Gailey needs. Evans had one good season for us and has been pretty inconsistent. 55, 63, 44, and 37 are Lee's reception total the past 4 seasons. Alot of that can be blamed on playcalling/QB play, but part of it us Lee just isnt a complete WR. Gaileys offense is very simple, get the ball to the open man and let him make a play.......you see guys like Nelson, Roosevelt and Chandler making plays.

#2 - Being a defensive captain on a bad football team doesn't make you a great player. Poz makes alot of tackles, but he cant cover to save his life and the biggest knock on him was he just isn't aggresive. He's the type of LB that lets plays come to him instead of attacking.....hence the reason he didn't make many stops behind the line. Barnett is more of an attacking LB that can cover.........he's def getting back to Pro Bowl form. Anybody can see that he's an upgrade over Poz. Plus Poz is not a 3-4 LB........thats the main reason he left Buffalo, the Jags offered him a chance to play "Mike" in their 4-3........but the large contract def had alot to do with it.

#3 - You guys were running a new system??? A new system yes.........but the 3-4 personnel were in place unlike us. We had to transition from the Tampa 2 to a 3-4. You guys remember that transition when Mangini took over right......going from Herm's 4-3 tampa2 to a Pats style 3-4? I remember it taking you guys until 2008 to get the guys you needed in place. Ryan inherited Revis, Harris, Thomas, Ellis etc. He also inherited Mangold, Bradshaw, Cotchery and Schottenheimer who had already installed year 3 of his system. So comparing your 3-1 start with a new system to our 3-4 start with a new system is apples to oranges.

#4 - That losing to the Patriots by 8 and losing to you guys 38-14..........I dont get your point there?!?!?

#5 - Dareus played both DE and NT in Sabans defense........how is he primarily a DE? The guys is 6'3 340lbs and unmovable.......NT is a way better fit for him then DE which he proved against the Skins. Kyle Williams is 6'1 301 lbs........you see why Dareus is a better fit at the nose then Kyle?

#6 - All of the players I stated are upgrades over the players they replaced and most would start for most teams in the league. We started Torbor and Ayodele at LB.......both are out of the league now. On offense we started Green and Martin.......both of them are out of the league. This team is totally different from last years team personnel wise and experience wise. It's funny that you guys are basing a win off what you did to us last year

It's even funnier that you're basing a win off what you did to the collapsing Redskins.

Even funnier how you guys feel you have it turned around after a win where you were down 21-10 to an inconsistent Chargers team who's QB is having the worst season of his career.

The Bill have always seemed to bring their best game when they play the Jets. The only thing different this year is that they have been able to get some wins against other teams in the league, thus making these bi-annual match ups actually worth something.

That being said, The Jets are clearly the more tested and proven team. Sure we have gone through a rough patch, but most teams will. Maybe we will be lucky enough to jump start a nice losing streak for you guys when your entire shit hole is stadium silenced and heading for the exits at the after the 3rd quarter.
