I do not believe he sensed his car was tampered with. Look for one of my posts earlier in this thread. I don't quite recall exactly what I wrote, but I know I wrote something. So look.

By the way, how's the weather in Biloxi?

most "holy shit" moments of the show in the first 4 seasons that i can remember

*don't read if you haven't watched*

-First season, when he's in tuco's office for the first time and throws down the fake meth/explosive
-Danny Trejo's severed head on the turtle. That scene was really fuckin crazy. might be #1 because i didn't expect that at all with the bombing. pure chaos, they really captured the moment and unexpectedness of it
-one of Tuco's cousin crawling out of the hospital bed on his stumps when he saw Walt. totally surprised me
    -gus slitting victor's throat
-The whole Mexico trip scene at the Cartel guy's house in season 4

probably a few more i can't think of right now

I wouldn't put the whole gus/bomb thing there, over then the fact it was brilliant cinematography, because it was somewhat predictable.

Hank vs. the Twins in One Minute was one of the best scenes in television history.

There's no way your predicted Walter putting the bomb under Tio Salamanca's wheelchair.

Just caught up, and wow, I love this show, and now I have to wait a year, dammit. Anyway I really liked seasons one and two the best, but the whole show is incredible, I love how this show can make you love and hate every character from episode to episode.

I thought it progressively got better. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I don't see how anyone can think the first two seasons were better than the last two.

The third season had so many great moments. One Minute, Fly, Half Measures, and Full Measures were amazing. Those episodes and the edition of Gustavo Fring and Mike the Fixer solidified Breaking Bad as one of the best of all-time.

The slow-burn of season four was pure genius.

I believe it is my favorite TV scene of all-time.

He could have predicted it about 15 minutes into the season finale but not really any time before that.

I love the series as a whole, I guess I like the first two seasons because they were the hook, Walters whole rise was very intriguing to me, But I am always like that, I love the start of a story when you first get to know the characters. Which is weird I know.

To me the most powerful moment in the show was Walter killing another person for the first time which was that dude Crazy 8, that scene was so fucked up and just wow, I was speechless, and I felt that a lot during the first two seasons. I also liked how Walter was way more ballsy in the beginning and he was turning into an anti-hero, where at points you hated him.

Then they introduced a true antagonist and match to Walter's brains in Gus, then Walter kind of wimps out, which kind of annoyed me cause I enjoyed Walter as the anti-hero, and I was expecting him to be more, I don't know, intimidating to Gus. But, it was the other way around, and in the end it made more sense the way it was.

Edit: I also spoiled some things for myself, because I'm an ass, so I knew to a point what was coming in the end of season 4.

Season 4 had a few meh episodes. overall it was pretty awesome, but that was the first time in the series kinda drifted off during some episodes. Jesse's whole crackden house and the focus on that, and the whole thing with Walt and the fly. Also him totaling the car was kinda weak and the stuff that followed.

that never happened in season 1 or 2

Fly is one of the best episodes of the series. It's the episode Paul and Cranston submitted to those that vote for Emmys.

For the life of me I do not get the hate for that episode. It was the epitome of the show, a slow burn to a fantastic ending. I thought at first it may not be very rewatchable but I was wrong. I liked it just as much if not more viewing it again. I loved season 3, to me it has some of the finest episodes of any series out there. Funny that I think season 4 told the better story but 3 had better individual episodes.

I don't think you understand this show.

Walter White has always been the anti-hero - this show is about his evolution into this villain.

Gus was terribly afraid of him. He went into hiding because he knew what Walter was capable of.

Gus tried to turn Jesse against Walt by making him feel important. It almost worked until Walter convinced Jesse that Gus poisoned the kid. Absolutely genius.

Both men made incredibly calculated decisions. They were both afraid of each other. It was awesome storytelling.

He didn't start out like that, he started turning into it and then in season four it shifted making him more of the good guy vs. Gus the bad guy. Gus was not nearly as afraid as Walter was of Gus, especially considering when Walter really pissed Gus off, they dragged Walter into the dessert and had Walter shitting his pants ready to get the fuck out of town.

Do you think he will become a straight up villain or still be an Anti-hero for the last season/2 seasons. When I say villain though I mean by the end of the series will we be rooting for or against Walter.

    Thanks man.

And watching one episode after another with no break in between really lets you see the brilliance in the writing, too..
