Maybe MB and I should take an early train into Jersey instead of riding out and we can hit up a grocery store.
If you end up buying something close to where you're staying, we could always just transport it in the Kozmobile.
I'm waiting to be told what to bring. I've never been to a tailgate before and can't bring anything that I can't buy in NYC the day before; if no-one tells me what to bring, I'm seriously going to bring whisky, beer and cake.
I guess I can bring in some grillables as well. Dogs, Bergers. Thanks to Igs & UKK for covering for me. Make 2 FULL trays of wings. I can eat a cpl dozen myself. I'll bring my "Ass in Antarctica" and "H-Bomb" hot sauces and see how many of you can shoot fire out your asses by game time...
I thought of this as well. The problem is, I'm not sure what stores are available in close proximity of our hotel. I'd be happy to pick up a box of burgers/bratwursts, buns, napkins and some condiments...if there's a nearby grocery store. the Kozmobile would be quite handy...thanks KOZ.
Boxed burgers? God damn you must be Canadian. We'll figure it out. I have no idea what is nearby where I am staying, but there is something. It's not a desolate area. (sort of) I also will have a cooler with me to put stuff in.
I just had a revelation. I'm going to have to head to the supermarket/costco anyway in the days leading up to the 'gate. If you guys decide what, if anything you want to bring, I'll pick it up and you can just give me the $ when I drive your asses that day. It just can't be anything else that has to be prepared, as I"m already leaning on the wife to prep cook the pasta or sausage and peppers for me that morning. Things like Potato salad, Mac Salad, frozen burgers, sausage, dogs, rolls etc aren't a problem. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Brother, it's a full-on assault as we approach the swamps of the Meadowlands. The only thing I need to worry about is MB trying to pay me in Canadian drachma.
