Good article by Dilfer on our defense. Just have to get better at stopping the runs to the edge. Also shows you how great Pettine and Ryan are at scheming the defense and how important of a player Revis is.
"Is Sanchez not improving?" Are you F'ing serious?!?! How is this a reasonable question? Do these people watch games? Or do they just regurgitate nonsense, for the sake of it, week after week after week? It's becoming outrageous.
How inscure are you that you have to pick the one negative thing out of that article and post about it? Its outrageous taht all you got out of a former NFL QB talking about our defense is that one question about sanchez.
Not really insecure... it's a tired topic. Not sure what insecurity has to do with that at all? I think Sanchez has done a lot to warrant a small amount of respect from the press. However, this is THE topic that can never go missing in a convo about the jets. It was a solid article... I just happened to point one of my pet peeves out. The next time I decide to overreact, I'll keep you in mind as a means to know not to.
He was only reiterating a few of the questions people were asking following the three game losing streak.
You realize that in all the media you be hard pressed to find a bigger Sanchez supporter than Dilfer. I am sure it goes back to when Rex was coaching the Ravens. His liking the Jets in general.
The ex-QB's, the guys who actually played the position, tend to like Sanchez. Phil Simms, Ron Jaworski, Trent Dilfer, all of those guys see the value in a hard worker who can take a hit and doesn't fold under pressure late. That kind of describes all of them too.
Good article he gave a lot of insight on how the jets defense affect qbs. If this was an anti jets article you'd see comments like. "fuk him he doezint no wat hez talkin bout, hez jus a jetz hata!!1"
Your wrong. This was an excellent read and the quoted question is one that gets asked quite often and justly so.
That's because he started out on NFLN and then moved to ESPN. ESPN can't grow their own talent anymore.
The best part about this article is Dilfer's insight to the defense. That's pretty amazing that the Jets will literally have a guy open at the end of his route but it won't matter. Now only if they can stop the run for the rest of the season. Then they can pray on QBs all day.
