Are you saying that the Jets will beat the snot out of the Bills?

Ignoring what that guy said, this game IS NOT gonna be a cakewalk, especially for the Jets.

While I feel we are the better team overall, the Ralph is gonna be rocking that day and that is going to be a great home advantage for the Bills, no doubt.

The game in Buffalo is going to come down to whether or not the Jets can stop the run consistently. Fitzpatrick isn't going to have an easy time against the Jet''s pass D and he's going to need a lot of help out of the run game to keep the Bills out of second and third and long. If the Jets defense is up to the task of stopping the Bills ground game then the Jets win this one fairly easily because the Bills defense can't stop anybody these days.

If the Jets can't stop the Bills on the ground then it could be a long day for us, just like the Raiders game.

    This.

If we can stop Jackson, I think we have a very good shot at winning. Also Fred Jackson in the passing game is dangerous too so he has to be contained in all areas

Call me a homer or an idiot or whatever but I honestly think the Jets are going to slaughter the Bills.

I'm going to watch the Bills play the Skins on Sunday in Toronto. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of points scored.

    That you have awful taste?

Anyway, just wanted to point out that the Atlanta jumped the Jets in the ESPN power rankings, despite that BOTH teams had a bye week last week.

They must have looked awfully good on their off-days.

On SI the Eagles jumped like 10 spots, by beating an under .500 and still being under .500 themselves.

These "power rankings" are an embarrassment to journalism.

The flaw in power rankings is that they're there to confirm the opinions that people already hold.

When the Jets were in the top 5 in week 2 it was because all the people voting had decided the Jets were really strong in the preseason and were a favorite to go to the Super Bowl. The fact that they had had a game handed to them by Tony Romo and beaten Luke McCown (Josh? It was a McCown, who cares?) didn't stop people from jumping the Jets up the rankings.

Then when they lost Mangold the primary focus became "the Jets are doomed" and so they plummeted like a stone in losing 3 games on the road that they probably shouldn't have been expected to win more than one of.

Now they're rising swiftly again despite beating just the Fish and a underperforming Chargers team that is losing the 4th quarter lately. If they beat the Bills they'll be back in the top 10. This despite the fact that if they lose to the Pats the following week they'll sink like a stone again.

It's all about people's preconceptions and voting for those preconceptions strongly when the evidence slightly favors them.

I don't care what their record is ... Other than Green Bay, the Eagles are probably the last team I'd want to be playing on Sunday.
