Jets sign Eron Riley off the Broncos practice squad according to Vrentas. Tall, young receiver that led the Broncos in the preseason in yardage and catches. Worth a shot... right? He can't be worse than Turner.
Rosenhaus Tweeted he's alerting teams to day that TO is 100% healthy and ready to come in for workouts. ...sign this beast?
It wouldn't shock me to see the Jets show a little interest in TO. Not saying they should sign him (they shouldn't) but the Jets go over every option available
A few national writers on Twitter (Kevin Fishbain, Adam Caplan) said the Jets had Matt Dodge, former Giants punter, in for a workout. Dodge was supposed to be a stud punter out of college. He had an eventful year with the Giants last year, obviously, with the Desean Jackson play, but I like bringing him in.
No thanks. Punting to Jackson was far from the only mistake that Dodge made last year--dude's a mess. The Jets special teams have been great this year, let's not fuck it up.
Bears release Chris Harris... sign this beast! No, seriously. He can't be worse than what we have in our rotation right now.

So now we have 1 spot open on the 53 man roster and 2 on the PS (if Jamarko SImmons did indeed sign). I'm guessing 2 OL + Ricky Sapp (on the PS). I wonder if we'll bring a veteran guy on the OL.
