I've spent about $90,000 attending live Jets games over the past 15 years, cut honeymoon's short so I wouldn't miss a single Jets game in person or on TV since 1978, lived in New England from 1996-2009 and wore my Jets gear proudly, attended every Jets game at Foxboro during that span enduring spit showers and physical attacks, raising my kids to bleed green when all their friends were Patriots fans, driving 10 hours round trip to enjoy my season tickets 5 games a season. Please tell me how I'm a disloyal Jets fan. It's disgusting that you'd treat a Jets fan this way. SAR I
Very true, very fair. Perhaps I used the wrong word. Still, we had a 17 point lead in a Championship Game and we lost it. SAR I
Again, no 17 point lead ever existed. You sure you even saw the game? First you had them up 24-0 which means you didn't even get the score right and you are still insisting the jets opened the game with a 17 point lead. The colts scored first in that game.
In both postseasons my expectations were exceeded. I'm sure all Jets fans feel the same way. However, it begs the question that if the Jets were good enough to win 4 road playoff games they were surely good enough to win the other two. We'd beaten Pittsburgh in that building a month earlier. We'd beaten the Colts* in their building a month earlier too. And I guess if the '09 AFCCG loss was acceptable because of newbishness and injuries, then the '10 AFCCG loss was even more unacceptable because of experience and health. SAR I
Never called you disloyal, just said don't for a second align your weird SOJ dogma with me. Having a dick waving contest over who invests more into the team is futile. To be honest, I frankly don't care about your money or time commitment. If you act like a deush bag, then your a deush bag. DEUSH BAG I
That's clearly a false dilemma. Rex is a good coach, we have a good roster. You need to be better than good to win a Super Bowl. Our coach and QB are both still learning how to do their jobs. When they cross over from good to great, then we'll win our Super Bowl.
It seems that most of your posts are regarding your expectations and how the world hasn't lived up to them. It's basically an indication that your life sucks. You should consider meds.
LOL. Believe it or not I was at the game, but I had my head in my hands for most of the first half, not believing what I was seeing, certain that this was the year and that we were going to the Super Bowl. 14 point lead, scored 17 unanswered, then surrendered 24 unanswered. I think that's right (double-checking). Yes, that's correct. SAR I
Any non Jets forum hates the Jets and would not give them credit if they went undefeated and won the Super Bowl by 40 points over another undefeated team.
At this point I can only assume you are under the influence. I'm still trying to figure out if it's alcohol or glue. The Jets didn't have 17 points on the board until the Colts had 6.
No. No we didn't. What happened to you being Mr. Super Fan? You can't even remember that game? We were up 11.
