This was just a teaser trailer, the actual trailer will be out this weekend I think.

Game is apparently set in the middle east, Saudi Arabia?

    Great games...can't wait for this.

Mark Wahlberg was cast to play Drake in the Uncharted movie - I don't really like that casting.

Saw the trailer a few days ago, such a looong wait til it comes out.

I beat the 2nd one a while ago when I rented it, but I actually bought it a few days ago because it is such a fun game.

I don't think Wahlberg would make a very good Drake either.....Hugh Jackman kinda looks like him....but he's a bit too old.

Doesn't really matter now I guess.

There's also talk about how Deniro and Pesci might play Drake's dad and uncle.....not realyl sure why the dad and uncle are in the story....DeNiro as Sully maybe but I am pretty sure Sully and Drake are not related.

Is it Uncharted or is it indiana jones?

agreed, love Uncharted, can't wait for this. How can you not enjoy these games if you ever played them?

I'm not even a big shooter gamer, but I just love the uncharted series.

Also I agree, Wahlberg is an unusual choice to play Drake in the movie. I can't tell you who should be playing it, just that wahlberg is an odd choice...

Edit: Sounds like its being tabled...

Not surprising, people are so wary of making a video game into a movie due to the incredible failures of the past. Hopefully Sony moves on to another director in order to create the movie rather than wait for a few years until Russel gets around to it...

honestly can't wait for this. Its going to be simply amazing, and I can only hope it lives up to my expectations.

The only gripe I have about the uncharted games, is that they might be a little short in terms of game play. But then again, the replay value is insanely high, so I don't think its too big of a deal. PLus if you play on the highest difficulties, it significantly lengthens the play throughs...

So glad they made melee better.

Always seemed weird to be attempting to be sneaky with bad melee options.

I am excited for this game like a fat kid is excited for cake. I re-bought the first two games a couple of weeks ago just to get myself into the zone for the third instalment.

    never played any of them

I own all 3 current gen systems and havent had much time to get into games like I've used to.

then again I mostly play RPG's so that would explain alot.

ive heard nothing but good things about the series and considering its one of PS3's big sellers I should.

jesus I like the guy but he also gets miscast so often. then again women run to theaters for him so most studios are looking for money not credibility.

Don't worry...Wahlberg dropped out. David O. Russell (director of The Fighter) was set to direct, but him and Sony got into a bigger dick contest after Russell wanted to switch the entire story around (make it about a family of Treasure Hunters, not just Drake). Russell dropped out and Wahlberg dropped out with him. Thank god for that. These games are just like movies...they just have to tweaked is all.

Assassin's Creed has some of the most game to film potential IMO.

Parasite Eve wouldve been good too before the Resident Evil floodings. I know theres a Japanese film of it but ive yet to see it.

Absolutely, thats part of what makes Uncharted so great. It literally plays like a movie. Take out all of the overwhelming gun fighting scenes, and a lot of the platforming and you have a great movie premade for you. Hell there is even somewhat of a mold for how much platforming to incorporate, if you follow the Prince of Persia Sands of Time. That strayed from the story a lot, but I thought put in the right amount of crazy athleticism to show it was derived from the game, but not make it overwhelming in the movie sense.

Uncharted could truly be an amazing movie. especially the second one, since there is a lot more human interaction between different characters, as opposed to mainly just Nate, or Nate/Elena as it is for the majority of the original. Hopefully it gets untabled and actually made into a great film series.

Just happend to stroll across the collectors edition. didnt realize that they had made one of these.

Drakes Ring, Belt Buckle, Game, and a Drake Figurine included. I don't think its really worth the extra money, but he interesting to say the least.
