According to Michael Smith from ESPN he's not impressed with our win (previously said the Chargers are a Superbowl team) he then said we are a bad team and we wont beat the bills . Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
As of now, there's no bad result from this game. I hate the Pats, and love to see them lose. Honestly, I'm not sure what result is preferable if I put my Patriot hatred aside. What's more likely, beating the Pats for the division or beating the Steelers for a wild card spot? I'd say the odds are roughly the same (slim) for both. The only difference is that we have more control over the division, since if we can theoretically sweep the 4 remaining division games we would hold the tiebreaker over the Pats.
It's not too late make a run for the division. If NE and Blo both lose and then we beat blo we are right up there in the chase.
True. Looks more likely that the Patriots move to 6-1 and the Bills 5-2 before the Jets play again, but if the Steelers or Redskins upset the other, it will be interesting. Especially the Steelers. Still not sold on Buffalo. A Redskins win would confirm that.
It actually is kinda a win-win situation. A steelers loss will help us in reguards to the wilcard. I definately want the division, but ill take a wildcard spot. The Steelers do have the Ravens the week after that, so the Steelers might go through a similar situation we had earlier this season. Losing to the Patriots and Ravens back to back. If the Steelers win ill be thrilled but if they dont ill still be satisified. Id just be rooting hardcore for the Giants to beat the Patriot the following week.
FUCK THE PATS!. Wildcard situation be damned - I hope the Steelers hand them a massive beatdown. I also hope the Bills get crushed by the Skins - not only for the sake of the Jets but so hopefully Catt County disappears from the board for a while.
The skins will be without Cooley, Moss, Hightower, Fletcher, Trent Williams and 2 of their other starting O-linemen. Add that with Beck starting, I don't see how most of you think they will beat the Bills?
that's a completely bogus stat. Almost every team that has been on bye up until this week has been a garbage team. take a look at the teams who have had their byes (not counting this week obviously because those teams haven't played) St Louis Denver Miami Arizona Kansas City Seattle Cleveland Tennessee Washington Dallas Baltimore San Diego
who cares what JJ adande look a like has to say. if he looks like JJ adande he's probably just as stupid.
I don't think there are too many people here who think it's likely that the Bills will lose, but I can guarantee you that we all HOPE that they lose.
the skins are pretty fucked on offense right now. their defense has been gashed the last two weeks too after having a really strong start and being their biggest asset. HOWEVER... here's the thing about that; It was against Vick and Cam Newton. So obviously washington's biggest issue is with ultra mobile quarterbacks. Against fitzpatrick, while he's def not a statute, they have the potential to play a lot better and more like the way they were dominating in their first 4 games. I think the bills are in a considerably more stable situation. Not many people think they'll lose *this* game. but like Royce just said, we can HOPE they lose.
Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan will murder Ryan Fitzpatrick. I still don't buy that o-line being effective over the longhaul.
I want the Ravens to win the North so in case we do end up in a tie breaker situation with them, we won't be effed by the fact we lost to them. Let them win and get the North:steelers:
Yeah, but we had 283 yards. Defense destroyed the Jags and kept giving us great field position, which we turned into more field goals than touchdowns.. We didn't play that great offensively vs Jacksonville, though we didn't really need to.
I don't think we really have a chance to see the Skins beat the Bills, but hey its the NFL you never no. However, if the Steelers can pull one out against the Pats, hypothetically we can control our own destiny and win the division (Pats fall to 5-2, Bills rise to 5-2, play both back to back). I have a strong feeling the Jets are going to come out of the bye and build on the momentum of the last two weeks, looking crisper and sharper than they have to this point. I'm gonna call a 24-13 Jets win over the Bills after the bye
