Did anyone see this ESPN Special?

Prior to watching this I thought Tebow was a Dick. I always thought he was overrated due to his horrible mechanics, simplicity of the system he ran at Florida, and his inability to read an offense. To top it off the whole obnoxiously religious thing really rubbed me the wrong.

That all being said, after watching this documentary (if you want to call it that) I am now a Tebow fan. The kid works ridiculously hard and is not the pretentious prick I thought he was.

It's hard to say this but I am now a Tebow fan and will be pulling for the broncos as long as he's starting.

    /end of my gay rant

    Go watch this

Hitler was kind to his dogs. Doesn't make him a good person.

The Super Bowl ad thing would pretty much make it impossible for me to be a fan.

Tebow's on field man-kiss of Thomas from yesterday's game. Maybe being back in Miami made him less inhibited.

    That ad was pretty tame.

Still don't get the fuss about it.

Has anyone ever seriously criticized Tebow's character? I think that the fact that he's hard working, a great leader, and a generally good guy is pretty well accepted.

The problem is that he appears totally unprepared to be an NFL QB. Good for him that he managed to score 2 late touchdowns against the awful Dolphins yesterday, but Denver was only in that position in the first place because of Tebow's brutal play throughout the first 3+ quarters of the game.

As Merrill Hoge correctly pointed out on Sportscenter this morning, Cam Newton has progressed more in 6 weeks than Tebow has in almost 2 years. I see no evidence that Tebow will ever be a successful starter in this league.

Im not a religious guy, so I don't care about that part of him, and it makes him easy to hate. But thats really the only reason to hate him. He works hard and seems like a great guy.

the hate comes mostly from people worshipping him like he's done something in the NFL. His fan club can be ridiculous. But there's a reason why people like him.

Kind of reminds me of Vince Young, great athletic ability, but no accuracy.

Newton has progressed more in 6 weeks than most quarterbacks in 2 years Sanchez, Freeman, Flacco, Brady included

I think he'll need to change his style of play considerably if he plans to stay healthy in the NFL. He got away with a lot in college because the defensive play he was up against.

He's not bigger, faster or tougher than the NFL linebackers that he'll be seeing weekly. Most of the NFL quarterbacks that ran the ball effectively in college became good pocket passers or didn't last very long. Can he make the transition? Maybe, but I'm not seeing it so far.

I don't know how you could possibly come to that conclusion based on 7 good minutes of play yesterday.

I like Tebow, but that statement is just ridiculous.

People "worship" him for what he did at the college level. The only people saying he'll dominate in the NFL are Florida Gator fans. Everyone else that likes him feels that way because of his performance on and off the field in college football.

Tebow's ability to carry his team on his back and just win at Florida was incredible.

He has the "it" factor, even if he's not an elite passer. He's one of the best leaders that I've ever seen in this sport.

whatever, I've always been a huge Tebow critic. simply cause of his skillset and technique, and him coming from a joke of a gimick system in college.

people like to blow who he is off the field as if it matters.

If anyone can prove me wrong with work ethic though, its Tebow.

that being said I think hes best suited as an H-Back

I bust my friends balls all the time about Cam Newton being way better, he always cites the laptop incident in which I then tell him the 23+ other arrested Players under Meyer didnt get that scapegoat treatment.

Anyways, Tebus Christ, great athlete, not a great qb. end of story

maybe if the Phins had more than 3 down lineman they couldve done something.

lets please remember how he played 56 minutes leading up to the Phins collapse
