Great result yesterday for the mood of this tailgate. If the Jets get a win in Buffalo we can lift the metaphorical roof against the Pats.

With the high spirits of the pre game party this can be a game for the ages.

    Can't wait guys.

My wife plus two of her friends. I felt the context was necessary when explaining the reasoning behind ticket selection; I don't want to have to listen to a bunch of dorises moaning that they're cold/bored/uncomfortable/whatever if I get it wrong.

I'm not married and even I know both choices at wrong if you are gonna base it on their level of complaining.

In fairness, they have all said that they want to go, and they are paying for their tickets so I'm assuming that they will at least attempt to enjoy themselves - they had the option of staying downtown. So, lower or mezzanine? Anyone?

Negative....my wife would light me on fire.

As you know, I don't play with fire.

I was just saying they'd like my hat.

Frankly, it's hard to see how anyone wouldn't. It's worth dropping $600 on tickets just to see that - the game's an added bonus.

Big enough to cook 10 burgers at once. Its a regular grill. I WON'T be bringing my 48" ProFire - that puppy stays home.

Hate to bring this up in here, but got some news to share. As a few people know from being told off the board, my wife's uncle suffered a brain stem stroke last weekend. He was told on Sunday it was nothing, but by Tuesday he had collapsed and was rushed in. He's now suffering from locked in syndrome. He's fully paralyzed, including speech, but cognitively he's 100% there. He's fully aware of his surroundings but unable to communicate aside from blinking.

When it first happened, he indicated that he didn't want to live, but the doctors waited a couple of days before letting him make a decision. As of right now, he's still uncertain what he wants to do.

The ONLY reason I bring this up in here is that he's now been told that he'll have a further diagnosis in two weeks. We're not sure he'll wait that long, but there's a chance he could fall into the "1% group", which has a slightly better prognosis. Instead of a maximum of 4 months in a wheelchair with a trach and feeding tube, he could get 18. He may wait until then to make his decision.

If at that point he decides it's over, I may not be able to attend. It's a very, very low chance, and it may seem callous that I'm even thinking about that, but I want to have a backup in place. I have tickets for 8 people, and if something happens that week, I'll need to overnight them to someone else. MB will also need somewhere else to stay since he's currently planning to mooch off me.

Again, sorry for the detraction from the thread, but if anyone can help on either end, I'd appreciate it. Shouldn't be an issue, but it very well could be.

Since no one else seems to want to answer this, I'll say mezzanine.

But my opinion doesn't mean much since in a decade+ of going to a few games every year I've only sat in the upper deck.

Happy to help with any grilling also though alcohol content may render most food unrecognisable. So looking forward to this weekend and as SJ says, beat the Bills and its game on!!

Looking forward to it , beer, pats fan pelting and a big cock hat....oh and a conversation on Cricket!! Like a dream weekend...

...whatever happened to that other Scottish guy btw....did anyone keep his contact details.............

Ref seeating JE.....Mezzanine all day , sat there last year and actually sold my two I had for this game. You want to sit in the 240a type seat, the view is amazing.

UKK and I are going to car pool to the stadium. I have room for 3 more "moochers" if they want to get in on a ride. I live 5 minutes from the stadium and easily accessible in a good neighborhood where your car can remain safe. We plan on splitting the parking pass. If anyone is interested - PM me.

Overnight them to me. I'm clearly the closest to you in proximity and I'm going for sure and have no conflicts on my radar.

Very sorry to hear about your wife's Uncle, IJR.
