Anyone who was at the game and watched him when he was in on the play can attest to this: he's adding a nice little spin move to his arsenal. It's so damn quick too, like Ware or Freeny quick. The biggest problem to me is his inability to use it effectively. He needs to add some bulk and use those long arms to his advantage. He still isn't an every down guy, but he's proving to be quite a damn good pickup. He's our best pass rusher, and has the ability to be an even better one in this system.
its looking like a STEAL that we were able to get maybin going... hes filling in a hole that weve been looking to do for a while now... finally a guy with some speed. every time i see him on the field he really is creating mayhem... keep it up you crazy guy you... hopefully he has a big game against the bills - poetic justice at its finest
It'll be interesting to see if Pettine and Rex can coach him up over the summer. If they can teach the kid to actually use pass rush moves, as well as bulk up w/o losing his speed, he can be impressive as a pass-rush specialist.
Second Maybin thread is second Maybin thread. Who cares what some irrelevant Bills fan thinks? If the posting of Catt County is any indication, NYCBillsFan and Tolhurst are the exception to an otherwise idiotic fan base. As far as the best out of Maybin, I certainly hope this isn't the best. I'd like to see him develop his nascent moves. Right now he's getting pressure because of our coverage. He's a great fit with our secondary, but I'd love to see him get disruption earlier on plays. THAT would be his best.
hes the same place you were during our 3game losing streak. not posting because his/your schtick is fucking retarded.
I love this fuckn' kid. He shows so much passion after the play is over. You want guys like that on your team. Can't wait to see him against his former team.
Im looking for multiple sacks from Maybin vs the Bills. I expect Rex to do something similar to what he did with LT, maybe not start him, but let him rush more than he has.
Someone needs to go there and say "You know, it's like no one ever taught him how to pass rush before".
You are welcome to Maybin and his coverage sacks. He's a smurf defender from the Jauron era, and nobody misses him in Buffalo.
According to the link posted at the top of this page, there are quite a few people who do. We'll take what Maybin is giving us for the pennies we signed him for (in NFL terms of course).
Lets Maybin continues to play well deep into the season getting sacks and pressures. Any chance that re work his contract and get him on board next season for like a 1year-1million deal so that someone doesn't take a gamble on him for like 3 mill a la Shaun Ellis
